I posted about this au not too long ago asking people what they thought the Adultrio would major in and a few people seemed interested!! I never miss the chance to yap about my own writing so I wanted to update ya’ll on what my plans are for the characters so far
Also I can’t remember if I mentioned this in my original post but this is a (mostly) genderbent au

Current Worry: Her last lab of the day is too long and the new barista can’t get her name right
Kurapika (They/Them)

Major: Creative Writing
Sexuality: Lesbian
Current Worry: Their lit professor is overly critical and they’ve encountered a very rude customer at work
Chrollo (She/Her)
Age: 27
Major: Literature
Sexuality: Bisexual
Current Worry: It’s difficult to teach a class while she’s still wrapping up her own studies
Illumi (She/Her)
Age: 25
Major: Psychology
Sexuality: Lesbian
Current Worry: Her brother has too many friends…and her professors keep rejecting her research proposals
Hisoka (Any Pronouns)
Age: 30
Major: Drama
Sexuality: Pansexual
Current Worry: She graduated but her girlfriends are both still busy with school
Killua (He/Him)
Age: 14
Major: None, he’s like a freshman in high school atp
Sexuality: Gay
Current Worry: His sister has some really weird “friends”

I started writing the first part today and ended up deciding to make it longer than I originally intended. I’ll be honest I only have like,,two parts for this planned so far so I have no idea if it will spawn into an actual Story but we shall see. Incase this post wasn’t clear enough, the main ships are Leopika and HisoIlluKuro (the first part will focus on Leopika ft. Chrollo). Really I just wanna see my faves be happy college lesbians because I am a college lesbian who needs some happiness in her life✌🏻
I’ve noticed lately that despite the Main 4 being my favorite hxh characters, I tend to follow Adultrio stan accounts quicker bcuz like,,,in my experience so many Main 4 stans are so mean for no reason. This certainly isn’t all of them, and I’m sure the reason for it is bcuz the main characters are gonna have the most fans and therefore there are bound to be some bad apples. But damn. The amount of times I’ve seen ppl get called pedophiles for liking Hisoka or get harassed for liking any ship involving villains is so exhausting. It’s fine to hate characters or ships but the total inability to respect different opinions is so baffling to me. And then the fans receiving all these horrific accusations for characters they stan or pairings they ship are always the sweetest people ever
