ATTACK ON TITAN HITA! 😍

Peeps!!! Today was the day! After (not) so many years, I am in Isayama's town, the lovely Hita in Oita prefecture, Japan

It's been a rollercaster of a day and tomorrow there's a lot more, so I leave a couple photos only and I promise to give a full account as soon as I can !!! (lmk if you want to be tagged when I do!

日田駅、初下車♪

『進撃の巨人』の作者の諫山先生の故郷ということで、駅は待合所を含めて『進撃の巨人』だらけ。 私は作品を知らないので、漠然と凄いな～と思うだけですが、ファンの方には聖地のようなエリアだそうです。

日田駅が始発ということで定刻前にバスが来ました🚌

停留所に先頭で立っていましたので、一番客でした。 本当は一番前の席に座りたかったのですが、優先席でしたので、その次の席に着席しました。ミラーレスもスタンバイさせて出発です📷

平日の昼でしたが、全員着席できたものの、10人近く乗車していました。

Hita Tourism on Instagram posted these lovely pictures of the sign in front of the station in Isayama’s home town. The caption reads "Stand between H & T, complete HITA with your love (I)",  and tells visitors to look for the hidden heart.

I wrote a fic about this sign, inspired by Isayama’s art below called Where the 'i' should be.  I wish I’d known about the cute lil heart at the time!
