"Then surely this can end amicably for the both of us, hm?" Pate's smile never wavered, though he was no stranger to the dangers of such a large weapon. "If you want the treasure behind this door, you're free to take it. I don't have the guts myself," he chuckled, expression somewhat sheepish. "Who knows what might be behind there, though I might just be overthinking it."
The knight glanced over at the door he pointed at, arching one golden eyebrow behind his pointed helm: “Well now, that’s certainly quite a generous offer, but you said it yourself, who knows what’s behind there?”
Leeroy squinted, lifting his great hammer onto his shoulder. He was confident he could handle it of course: he’d slain gods, demons, humans, anything that tried to kill him with relative ease, but getting complacent usually is the first step to a hefty downfall. The temptation of treasure meant little to him, as well... not unless it was a new weapon he could add to his arsenal.
“Though... I do believe I can handle myself, should anything happen...”
