I was a part of these websites (as a roleplayer, not a developer) from beginning to end. We had SOOOO MANY users. Just like, a ridiculous amount of users.

And I haven’t found a single one of you motherfuckers since.

Where did you all go?

I made some fucking great friends on those website and then they shut down and I refuse to believe that not a single one of you have been on those sites.

I miss those sites so much.

I wish we could bring them back.

Hi! Im moon, believe it or not i didn't start fantrolling on tumblr, or a forum. i actually started on a website called “Gigapause” a couple of years back. The website came to tumbling finish and i was only able to scrape up 2 friends. the rest slipped through my fingers. Gigapause then converted to Hivetale, which was much more sparse. Gigapause was a start to my art career, long time friendship and involvement in the fantroll community. Hivetale was also a large part of it. In a distant memory…

Endless racks of servers hum quietly, all aligned in uniform in vast arrays, sweep through a flat, open world. The only sources of light come from these unfeeling, miniature monoliths, as their circuitry pulsates with calculations both alien and incomprehensible. Their orchestra of hums and beeps eventually become lethargic, as the floor slowly changes color. Before, it was but a miserable, lonely shade of black. But now, there seems to be a great upheaval, as it slowly shifts green. The screen of every server immediately turns on, as machinery below the plane begins emerging to prepare physical maintenance.

This world, which once slumbered quietly within its own forest of silicon, has begun reaching out to other worlds. Worlds which, by any other logical means, could not be reached towards. Worlds whose technological feats pale in comparison. Worlds so advanced, that making it this far would seem impossible. There is only one goal on its mind…
