Timeline - Autumn Augustus (UPDATED)
Birth:
Autumn is born in Essex, Maine to Arthur and Emily Augustus. He's their first and only child.
4-5yrs old:
Gifted the Augustus family heirloom- a pair of possessed golden gauntlets- Autumn begins hearing voices by the age of 5.
6-10yrs old:
Autumn begins killing on a small scale. He brings his parents birds, cats, dogs, and mice that he strangled himself. They're horrified but do their best to hide it.
16yrs old:
Autumn takes his first victim, a fellow student at his high school. The voices in his head have gotten louder and he starts talking back. He leaves the girl's body in the open and runs away from home that same day. For months, he dreams about her dark black hair and piercing icy blue eyes
18yrs old:
Autumn meets Daisy Dusk, a strong independent woman who aims to become the best lawyer in the country. They become fast friends and hit the road together, moving in to support one another. The voices promise him happiness, relief, and success but at the price of blood.
20yrs old:
Autumn and Daisy begin dating. His naivety in regards to relationships, sexuality, and intimacy leave Autumn confused but Daisy is an overwhelming force of will. He isn't sure if he actually loves her but she convinces him he does. The voices give him their name; Sunahara Khoon. Autumn sees visions of eyes, blood red and glittering gold. They comfort him.
21-23yrs old:
Autumn and Daisy get married. Unbeknownst to her, Autumn isn't just killing people in secret, he's also becoming increasingly sure that he's gay. He doesn't tell her, keeping most of his personality hidden from her. His "hobbies" makes him happy though, and Daisy basks in their wealth.
24yrs old:
Daisy discovers that Autumn is a bloodthirsty killer and also homosexual. She traps him in their relationship, having spent nearly 4 years manipulating him into thinking he loves her. She keeps tight surveillance on him and the emotional abuse becomes harsher. Sunahara urges Autumn to leave, that they can kill her and run, but Autumn feels crippled without her presence. Even when the abuse turns physical, he stays.
24-25yrs old:
One night, Autumn snaps. He packs a bag and leaves in the early hours of the morning, fleeing the entire state of Maine to get as far away as possible. His murder streak rockets on but he feels alive and free for the first time since his first killing. He does his best to forget Daisy, mingling with other gay men and experimenting with himself like he'd always dreamed. He's finally happy.
26yrs old:
Autumn's path of death catches the eyes of a detective named Pierce. They play cat-and-mouse for a good while, Autumn always escaping just before Pierce can catch him. The chase twists into some fucked up version of attraction and the pair find themselves smitten with one another. Autumn shares with Pierce his literal inner demon and Pierce finds himself confiding in Autumn about his own broken marriage.
Daisy, having been hot on Autumn's trail this whole time, learns about their romance. She hires a fleet of hitmen with the remainder of Autumn's riches that she'd taken and has Pierce murdered right in front of Autumn.
Overwhelmed with grief and rage, Autumn finds himself running once more.
26-28yrs old:
The pain and shock of losing Pierce snaps something inside Autumn. His haunted gauntlets become one with his body and Sunahara's soul melds with his. He reaches a sort of enlightenment and a slew of powers are made readily available to him. He gains super strength and heightened senses, along with powerful ancient blood magic and the ability to shape, summon, and create pure gold. His murder spree is out of control, now incredibly violent, grotesque, and fueled by grief and rage.
29-34yrs old:
Autumn is tired and lonely. He continues his "work" but the bloodshed isn't enough for him anymore. He craves something that will fulfill him emotionally, too, something his life has lacked since the beginning. He enters a depressive slump but forges onward. The bond between him and the Sunahara is unbreakable.
35yrs old:
Autumn discovered that Pierce is actually alive. The detective had seen Daisy's plot miles away and managed to dupe her entirely. They catch up and things have changed; Autumn is no longer a threat to Pierce's career and Pierce is no longer interested in bringing Autumn to justice. Their romance is rekindled and they form some semblance of a relationship.
36-37yrs old:
Autumn's power grows with each passing day. Sunahara's voice, which used to ring so loudly in his ears, is now only a whisper. As they become closer and closer, Sunahara surrenders their soul and all their power, vanishing into the ether. Having inherited their mantle, Autumn achieves godhood.
A rift forms between him and Pierce. Autumn is eager to bask in his newfound form. Pierce is ready to retire and raise his daughter. They break up, amicably, but stay friends and stay in touch.
38yrs old (present):
Autumn traverses the multi-verse, flaunting his godhood to all that witness him. He's nigh unkillable, with enough power to level cities and destroy entire countries. He seeks a challenge, new horizons, and, above all else, companionship.
