A collection from the Heckler & Koch USP family.

1) USP 45 - Trigger V1/2 (ambidextrous controls); HK to Picatinny adapter (I’m waiting on the HPA to pass to further build this one)

2) USP Compact 40 - Trigger V1? (This one’s trigger has some Match Trigger components, as well as other upgrades, so it’s not just a V1 trigger anymore); Match Weight from IMMI holdings; Match Barrel from EFK Fire Dragon; Custom sights I designed myself.

3) P2000 40 - LEM Trigger V1; Crimson Trace CMR 205 light/laser. (Come on, we all know it’s a USP)

The heavens have blessed me with the opportunity to build some custom USP models as I see fit. The P2000 is the daily carry, the USP Compact (Match) is the delightful match pistol, and I’m holding out to build the USP 45 in a way that capitalizes on the subsonic nature of the .45 acp round.

Got a new light for my everyday carry HK p2000. It’s a Crimson Trace CMR 205 with red laser and light. I am going to do a review on this light eventually.

The kydex looks a little blob esque, but this is to keep a gap around the light controls. It is tight everywhere but right outside the light switches. The switches are sensitive, and if the Kydex is tight against them the light will turn on when you are wearing the pistol. All the same, the holster holds the pistol very tight, with a nice snap feel when it goes in and out.

Of the choices on the market, I really think Crimson Trace has the best looking light for the P2000 and P2000sk. Personally, I like a carry gun to have a flush light that doesn’t extend past the front of the slide.
