went to the billie movie last night after buying the tickets forever ago when they first dropped but the entire time all i could think about is if she even meant anything she was saying because of how performative hypocritical she’s been.

then i get out of the movie and see her story doubling down on “not giving a fuck” and “mwah” type of shit.

bro you can be a vegan i don’t care but what we’re mad about is how you say people are bad if they aren’t vegan, but use non vegan/not cruelty free makeup products. you say billionaires are terrible but praise love support and work with a billionaire on your movie. you say 5+ vinyl variants is unethical but release several variants for every single album. you criticize artists who aren’t publicly supporting palestine but double down on your love for a man who has publicly supported israel and has had several extremely racist videos surface.

and circling back to the vegan thing, you’re adamant on the fact that ANYONE who eats meat for any reason has no excuse and is a bad person and hates animals. while people can hardly afford groceries in general, especially paying extra for guaranteed vegan items.

i’m glad you use your platform to voice these things but it’s difficult to actually take it seriously when you are turning around and doing the opposite. you are not the exception. we are not going to do these things just so you can go do them and it cancels out, that’s not how it works.
