"Ah! Hey there! Do you need something? I'm glad to help!"
"------ Uh, i'm not feeling really well."
Bad News on a Windy Day (open RP!)
James sat by the pond next to the De Sainte-Coquille mansion, staring across the clear waters. The large trees overhead blocked out the sun, covering the lake and the grassy area next to it in shade. A light breeze ruffled James' long blond hair, and he subconsciously held onto the rim of his tattered hat, not wanting it to blow away.
Part of him wanted to think about what Elena had just told him before he had walked out of the shop, but another part of him wanted to keep his mind completely blank. For a while he tried as best he could, but every time he let his mind wander, he would hear Elena's angry words in his head again.
Mom is dead.
James swallowed. It was news he had been expecting for the past nine years, so he thought that when it was finally confirmed, he would be just fine. He thought that by then he'd come to terms with it, and he would blow it off like it was nothing, and he would comfort Elena if she was upset, and then life would go on. But now that he had heard it, and from his little sister, no less...
And Elena. She had looked so upset, and what had he done? He had left. What sort of a brother was he if he couldn't even comfort his own sister? James wondered how she had finally confirmed the death. Had she traveled somewhere? Did a tourist who knew his mother tell her? The more James thought about it, the more miserable he felt. For the first time in years, his mind was bombarded by memories of her, of his mother, with her beautiful blond hair and her sweet smile and her eloquent words and...
A tear slipped down James' reddening cheek, and he quickly wiped it away with the back of his hand. There's no reason to cry, he thought to himself, frowning. You've known all along, after all. As much as he wanted to believe that, though, he simply couldn't; some part of him had always hoped that she would knock on the door one day, smiling like she always did, apologizing to her two children that her trip took so long.
But that would never happen now, would it?
Just as James felt another few tears fall down his cheeks, a sudden gust of wind blew his hat right of his head. James tried to make a grab for it, but it blew out of his reach, several feet from where he was sitting. James turned to where the hat had landed, and was both surprised and embarrassed to find someone standing next to where the hat now sat.
Post Crop Festival
*Looking down at the watermelon, she lets out a small sigh, as she bites her lower lip. Then, shrugging it off, and smiling, she walks back towards Blue Bell, pondering what she may have done that lowered the score of the fruit* It is only my first season growing crops~

The town Felicity had been searching for was nowhere in clear vision. The trees that hung above her casted the sunshine away, producing only darkness. The merchant at the dock explained to the young girl that all she had to do was follow this trail that would flow right into the heart of town. 'This is why I ask for a map, or for a reliable source,' Felicity recalled in her head.
As the trail kept going, her energy was running low. The trees around her began to dance, distracting her from her careless footing. With one of her delicate feet colliding behind the other, the girl collapsed onto the dirt, spewing little clouds of dirt from beneath her.
Valentineless Girl. ❥ // Open~
Peeking out from inside of the window towards the bright sunshine, the imagery of red lavished the city. There were hearts decorated on every corner, couples chattering about and exchanging gifts. Although the festivities would not take place until tomorrow, many people decided to go ahead give presents. Felicity sighed, closing the curtain as she descended down the staircase.
The young lady was slightly discouraged at the fact she wouldn't have a valentine this year. Well... did she have any year? The sighting of a guest caught her off guard, but the pretentious girl cleared her throat to signal her arrival.
"Hello. Is there anything I can help you with?" The brunette warmly smiled.
Where's the food? (Open RP)
"I'm soooo hungry!" she complains as she looks around the diner. She looked everywhere hoping to find some rice and her stomach growls loudly as she fails to find her favorite food. Then she suddenly gets an idea and runs out the door, going past the plaza and Herman's house as she reaches the entrance to Oddward Falls. Once there she searches the bushes for her secret stash of rice balls, finding one and munching on it happily as she takes a seat in front of the waterfall.
Even on Crutches
Hansel had woken up that morning, just like every other morning; ready to get to work! After eating a small breakfast, he went out to the barn. It was nice and sunny, so he let his animals out to graze after brushing them. They seemed worried about Hansel, but he just grinned happily as usual and talked with them. To him, it really was nothing.
After taking care of his animals, he went out to his field. Now came the tricky part of his morning. " I can do this!" He reassured himself. Balancing himself on his crutches, he filled up his watering can and began to water his crops. It was all going smoothly until he ran out of water. The fountain was a bit far... but he nodded his head and began hobbling over. Unfortunately, crutches shouldn't be used on dirt...
In seconds, Hansel found himself on the freshly watered dirt. Thankfully, he didn't harm any of his crops. He breathed a sigh of relief turned over to sit. Something ached with pain as he did that, though. His ankle was sending piercing pain though his body. "Agh! Not again!" He yelled, trying not to move his ankle too much. It hurt too much to get up, and he wasn't stupid enough to try. That's what happened last time...
