Patricia sat down in the grass behind her boyfriend’s house in America. She was spending two week with him and his mother. She let out a laughing and continued watching as her boyfriend attempted to put up a hammock. So far it had proven to be highly entertaining. She could’ve offered him help, but watching him struggle was more interesting.
“Care to lend a hand Yacker,” Eddie finally asked. Frustration laced his voice.
“I’m having much more fun watching you though.”
“But I could be done by now if you helped me,” he scoffed.
“Where’s the fun in that Slimeball?”
“It’ll be a lot more fun when we can actually sit in it.”
“Oh really?”
“Yes. No are you gonna help me or not.”
“Fine only because I’ve gotten bored of watching you suffer,” Patricia stood up out of the grass and walked over to where Eddie had been struggling with the hammock set up.
“Finally,” he huffed. It only took them about another ten minutes to get the hammock setup, and Eddie was the first to settle in.
“Where did you even find a hammock,” Patricia questioned as she settled herself beside Eddie.
“I found it in the attic last week,” he smirked.
“Why did you decide to put it up today.”
“Because today is perfect hammock weather. I mean it’s just a bonus you’re here,” he flirted. She rolled her eyes and didn’t say anything. They simply let silence surround them.
"So have anything else planned or are we just gonna lay here," she finally questioned breaking the silence.
"We could take a nap or maybe we could kiss," he teased
“Nap sounds good,” she smiled. Snuggling herself more into the hammock.
“Oh really? I for one was hoping for that kiss.”
“Yup.”
“But doesn’t kissing sound more exciting than taking a nap?”
“Nope.”
“It does to me.”
“A nap seems pretty great to me right now though.”
“Just one kiss,” he begged.
“No.”
“Please,” he questioned attempting to shift over closer to Patricia. He hadn’t planned on flipping the hammock over. The pair landed with a thud.
“Nice going slimeball.”
“Hey if you let me kiss you this wouldn’t have happened,” he teased.
“And now you’re really not getting a kiss,” she smiled, standing up to dust herself off. She looked down at him still laying in the grass. She let out a laugh before making her way back to the house leaving him behind.
This is for everyone who wondered why peddie broke up before s3
Patricia had been in America with her family for almost a week now and she still hadn't seen Eddie, she watched as her 'perfect' sister sat down on the beach next to her parents. It was almost warm on that particular night but she sat inside on her bed laptop in hand.
she wondered to her self knowing very well that none of her family would be in for a while considering it was past midnight when they came back last night.
only for a little while, who would know?
She looked out of her window just thinking how close he was, 3 weeks of being in different countries was not as hard as being so close and not speaking. The night was still, no wind and the only sound that could be heard was the distant carnival's music. Patricia hadn't ever been one to follow the rules nor was she the favourite twin...so why try now?
A devious smile crept on to her face as she turned around once more to check no one was watching, she locked her bedroom door got dressed and jumped out of her window. Their room was on the ground floor so it wasn't much of a jump, but she had done it. Exhilarating thoughts flooded her mind as she began her walk to his house.
With every step she took she knew there was less chance of being able to turn back, but she didn't care.
Soon she saw his house, she knew because he would show her so many pictures telling her about how awesome the U.S was. After jumping the fence the only thing left to do was work out which was his room. Thankfully no one was in the back garden so she could stand peering into the first floor rooms from the safety of the huge tree that stood there. All of the rooms looked identical from where she was...until.
I don't want you seeing her, I have told your mother so when I leave for England again you will not have anytime.
But dad she is no different to me
I know Edison and that is why you shall not be seeing her
Eddie stormed in and slammed the door shut locking it whilst mumbling to himself. He walked up to his window and Patricia started to edge her way across the biggest branch.
"who's there?" Eddie shouts, it was loud and Patricia thought he might be heard.
"Oh shut up weasel face"
"wait what?....YACKER!"
His face lit up as she jumped through the open window, rather than asking so many unnecessary questions they pulled each other into a hug. They clung on to each other so tightly, almost as if they wouldn't let each other go. They didn't want to let go but neither would ever admit that. They just stood there in complete bliss for a few moments.
" I can't believe you."
"I'm a sibuna, sneaking out is what we do"
They laughed together and held on to each other more.
"I never thought I'd say this but I really missed you weasel face."
"You to."
They whispered the whole time because they were scared of being found. They finally came apart from the hug and looked at each other Eddie leaned in and kissed her.
"I love you" And he meant it.
This time when he kissed her it was more passionate, more fiery they had both noticed but she just responded by falling back onto the bed what happened next changed the rest of their summer brake.
Eddie was first to wake in the morning, when he noticed Patricia's small body in his arms. He soon panicked and began to wake her up. After she awoke her eyes met Eddie's and she immediately knew she had to get back, without a word she started to get dressed along side Eddie.
"You sorted Trixie?"
"Yeah I had better go though"
"Wait...will I see you before you leave"
"hopefully"
There was a knock on the door and Patricia dived out of the window and into the tree but there was someone in the garden so she had to stay quiet and hidden. She knew her sister would cover for her, Piper was to scared of her not to. She went to grab her phone but realised that it was in her bag which was still in Eddie's room. She could hear the conversation that they were having, Sweetie was apologising to him whilst Eddie stood there kinda awkwardly. They shook hands and hugged each other but then.
"Edison what is this"
He held up Patricia's bag it was dark purple with a long strap so there was no way of Eddie pretending it was his.
"Well..umm you see it is uuh"
Sweetie started to empty it contents when there were voices from downstairs, it was her parents asking where she was soon everyone was in his room, she could've escaped but she couldn't leave him now. She jumped back into the room everyone gasped apart from Piper who just shook her head almost as if to say she feels sorry for what is about to come.
"You didn't need to come in yacker"
"Yes I did, you won't take all of this."
Eric exploded as did Patricia's dad.
It was the usual 'you're to young' and 'how dare you' so they dismissed it all until Eric shouted.
"You will never be together, even though you are in the same house you will never be alone, Victor will watch you even Trudy."
They were both stunned but then, Patricia's dad grabbed her, and dragged her out of the room shouting about the fact they will never be together.
Something happened for the first time, Patricia cried she shouted for Eddie and he ran for her but wasn't quick or strong enough.
So when they had stolen glances, it wasn't anger it was longing and that jealousy, fear she had been forgotten.
For the HOAExchange, and maracampbell. Sorry it's late! Oh, and I've never written Mickara before, but figured I'd give it a go. This takes place right after the Season 2 Finale, and it's kind of bittersweet.
Mara walked out of Anubis House looking for a breath of fresh air after all the excitement. Instead, she nearly tripped of her boyfriend. Ex-boyfriend. She reminded herself mentally. Mick was sitting on the front steps, the droopy blue duffel bag mirroring his dejected posture. "Hi." Mara said softly, staring at her shoes, the night sky, the bushes, anywhere but his face.
"You can sit down you know. I'm not going to bite." He chuckled quietly.
Mara was uncertain. She'd been plenty of things in her 17 short years, but never that before. She prided herself on making rational and well thought over decisions. Because Mara Jaffray sticks to her decisions. And a rational and well thought over decision was exactly what Mara had thought Jerome was, until she'd seen the look in Mick's eyes. "Oh. Okay." She gently sank to the cold cement, careful to keep what she deemed an appropriate distance between them.
And then they sat.
Saying not a single word, they stared at the stars, mulling over their own problems.
"So. When did Mara and Jerome become Mara&Jerome?"
"Does it really matter?" For some reason, Mara didn't want to talk to Mick about her and Jerome.
"It does to me." He looked at her, questions in his eyes.
"If we're being honest here, I'm not really sure. It just... happened."
"Oh." Mick didn't say anything else, but the look on his face filled in all the blanks Mara needed. He was angry. He had wanted her to say that, somehow, Mara and Jerome really had been just friends until he'd broken it off. Mick wanted to believe that she hadn't been lying to him. Because Mick was painfully honest. How could she have not remembered that? It was part of what she loved about him, that though he might not have been textbook smart, he had a complete lack of cunning or evasiveness in his demeanor.
The exact opposite of Jerome.
Jerome was always scheming, with an almost frightening air of constant mischief. It was like some sort of odd dream, that the mysterious enigma of Jerome Clarke liked her, boring old Mara. A good sort of dream, but one that could hardly last beyond the faintest edges of consciousness.
"He's going to end up cheating on you. Or something similarly despicable. He gets bored, Mara."
Immediately, she was indignant. It didn't matter Mara herself had been thinking the same thing moments before. She was allowed to have doubts. He wasn't. "Jerome would never do something like that. Not to me."
"That's exactly what I thought about us." Mick looked her directly in the eyes as he said it, making it a thousand times worse of a blow. "You two will make a fine pair." And then he walked away.
Mara wanted to scream. NO. She was not like Jerome, she was different. She made him better. She wanted to say everything, anything, but every word she knew was stuck stubbornly in her throat. And the only thing she could think was that maybe the infallible Mara had made a mistake, abandoning the solid refuge for the elusive dream. But she didn't make a sound as Mick strode out of her life. Because Mara Jaffray sticks to her decisions.
Peddie fanfic for my-sibuna-life aka Leonie, hope you enjoy it, love!
"Come on, Eddie!" Patricia pleaded, “Trudy’s out and I’ve got all the ingredients!" Eddie sighed “I don’t wanna." He was sitting in the living room of Anubis house, listening to the new sick puppies album. Patricia moved round from her standing position to sit on his lap. “Edison." She pleaded and stared at him, almost glaring. They both lent in and just as their lips were about to touch she pulled away, smirking. She grabbed his hand and lifted herself to her feet. She smirked at him and he sighed, but stood next to her as she smiled at him. He then let himself be dragged into the kitchen.
"Okay so we’ve added the butter and the sugar and the egg, you’ve got to add the flour now." Eddie looked up from her recipe sheet and to Patricia. She was stirring a bowl in which now looked like ‘muck’ as Eddie had put it (although that did earn him a slap, which he did successfully dodge). “No, Yacker! You’ve got to fold it in, like this, look." He took the bowl from her hands and started to fold the flour into the mixture, bit by bit. Patricia scoffed, but sat on the counter and watched Eddie work his butt off on the cupcakes.
Once they were in the oven he spun to face her. She had a small smile on her face. “Okay, you’ve been looking at me like that for the past 10 minuets, what’d you want?" Patricia’s face immediately hardened, “like what?" She asked, her back straightening considerably. “Like you want something" he replied immediately. She sighed, “Okay, but your gonna think I’m stupid." He rolled his eyes “I already think your stupid, so tell me." She sighed, “well, I did start the cupcakes and I’ll ice them, so can we pretend I cooked them?" She looked up at him, through her lashes. He sighed “on one condition," she scowled, skeptical. “Kiss me." He whispered, leaning in. Patricia was only to happy to ablige.
"EDDIE!" Patricia screeched, in a very Patricia like way. The only way his name ever sounded right was coming from her lips. Even if she was yelling it at him. He resisted the urge to roll his eyes,
“Coming dearest!" He yelled back mockingly. He walked into the kitchen of Anubis house and she stood there, hands on hips, eyes glaring straight at him. He smiled innocently. Silently asking what she wanted. She continued to glare.
“You think your so clever, don’t you?! Acting all innocent! I know what you’ve done!" He shrugged “What’d I do?" She shook her head and sighed. She moved round the counter to where a baking tray was set. She pointed at it, never taking her eyes off of Eddie. The tray had 12 cupcake holes, but only 10 cupcakes. He immediate thought was to laugh, but there were some times when you shouldn’t joke around with Patricia and this was one of those times. He shook his head, he had played no part in the missing cupcake. “Yacker, I swear I didn’t-" he started, but she cut him off. “Save it, Weasel." She sighed and shoved her way passed him and out the door. He rolled his eyes, a small laugh escaping his lips.
"Willow!" Eddie heard Patricia scream not 10 seconds later.
“Mmfhm?" He heard, who he assumed was Willow, reply. And he guessed that’s where the missing cupcake went. Eddie waltzed into the hallway, ready to stop Trixie from attacking Willow, but instead he found Alfie in the middle of the two girls. ‘Lets see how this plays out’, he thought. And he lent against the wall, unnoticed by the trio.
"It was my cupcake, I had half and thought it was delicious so I gave the other half to Willow." Alfie defended himself later on the evening. Alfie, Willow, Fabian, Mara, Eddie and Patricia were all sitting in the living room, enjoying the cupcakes Patricia had made earlier that day. “Well I think that’s sweet." Smiled Mara. “Still could have asked first." Grumbled the red head, slouching and folding her arms. Fabian nodded, “He could of, but it’s Alfie and food. I’d be surprised if he even gave up a crumb." He smiled and Alfie threw a few crumbs at the other boy. “There more than one crumb." Fabian laughed, as did the rest of the teenagers. “Seriously, Patricia, these cupcakes are brilliant." Mara sighed, finishing her last bite. Patricia smiled and lent back, “thanks," she sighed and she sent Eddie a secret wink. “Maybe I’ll make more next Friday."
This fic is for Lucy. Happy hoaexchange day! ~I signed up for this on my rp account, (fabianlewisrutter) but I hope it's okay that I'm posting it on my main! Still me! c:
"Sorry," he apologized to the girl. He was just lousy at this. “I don’t think you can teach me how to dance by prom, Joy." The girl sighed. It really wasn’t that hard.
"Jerome, all you have to do is sway back and forth. Like this," she exclaimed, showing him. What she didn’t know, was what Jerome was really capable of. They swayed back and forth for a few seconds before Jerome stopped.
"Hang on," he started. “So, all you do is sway back ans forth?" Joy nodded, looking up at him. He was so tall compared to her. Like a giant. “So you’re saying I can’t do this?" Jerome took her hand and spun her around under his arm, spun her out and then into his arms only to spin her out again and dip her. The girl was completely shocked as she fell back in Jerome’s arms, the boy’s eyes beaming down on her. Her heartbeat got faster as she stared up at him.
"Why do I get the feeling you don’t really need lessons?" she asked him.
"Because I don’t." Slowly, he brought her back up, keeping his eyes locked on hers. Both of them were looking into each other’s eyes and there was definitely a connection. Jerome probably would have kissed her if she hadn’t broken the moment.
"Well, if you don’t need my help I actually have a lot of.. um.. studying, to do, you know. Just like, exams and stuff so I uh, better get going on that." As the girl awkwardly backed away to go upstairs, Jerome followed. Exactly what she didn’t want.
"I’ll come with you," Jerome offered. Joy stopped in her tracks, turning around and flashing a somewhat awkward smile.
"No… I mean, I’d just rather study alone, sorry Jerome." Before the boy could respond the girl was all the way upstairs, heading into her room. Jerome sighed, making a pouting face and running a hand through his big blonde hair.
"Of course you would…" Shaking his head, the boy walked off into the kitchen to make himself tea where he ran into Eddie. Literally. The two boys collided luckily not in a too severe way. However, the dirty blonde almost dropped his snack.
"Whoa," he said, avoiding Jerome at the last second. They still bumped together a bit though. “Hey, dude. What’s up?" Eddie asked. He could tell be looking the other boy over with those big brown eyes of his that something about him was off. It’s like he wasn’t exactly himself.
"Nothing," the boy lied immediately. “Nothing’s up. Why would.. why would anything be up? If anything things are kind of down lately. Like, crashing down." Eddie set his snack down on the counter, looking at Jerome with a weird and confused expression.
"Jerome… you okay there?" Jerome covered his face with a hand that slid down to his neck. Frustrated with this whole liking Joy thing and breaking up with Mara and Willow thing, Jerome was a wreck.
"No, actually I’m not okay. I like Joy, but she doesn’t seem to want anything to do with me. You know, I tried, to get her to see that I’m not a bad person. I just make, stupid, mistakes."
"Really stupid.." Eddie mumbled under his breath. Jerome pointed a finger at him, aggravated.
"Hey, watch it Miller. I just don’t get it. I know, she likes me. It’s just like something is pulling her away every time I bring her closer." Eddie took a bite of the snack he had grabbed which now revealed to be a candy apple and looked Jerome up and down, shrugging his shoulders. With food partially in his mouth, Eddie replied.
"I don’t know dude. Maybe you should ask her to prom. Chicks dig that kind of stuff. Look, I’m gonna ask Patricia to prom. Even though we’re together you can’t just assume you’re going to prom together. Girls like to be surprised. Pick her up some flowers, make her some dinner, boom. Instant prom date." Eddie smirked, taking another bite of the apple. Jerome slouched, leaning on the counter.
"If you haven’t ever noticed, Miller, I can’t cook." Eddie frowned, chewing on his food.
"Good point… Have Trudy make it!" Eddie smiled, patting Jerome on the shoulder before setting off. That wasn’t such a bad idea. Jerome was just going to have to figure out how to make it even better.

Later on that night, Joy came down from studying, a bit thirsty. When she descended the staircase she met Jerome at the bottom. The girl didn’t look so pleased. “Oh… hey, Jerome," the girl started. “I was jut about to go get a drink. A little study break, you know?" As she tried to squeeze by him the boy stepped in front of her.
"How about we make that break a little longer, eh?" he offered. Joy looked up at him, an uncomfortable look on her face.
"You know Jerome, I really should just get a drink and get back to studying. I think I’ll pass." Moving again, Jerome blocked her once more.
"Please, Joy. Just come with me, for a few minutes, I promise. If you don’t like it, then you can leave right then, but please, just come." Joy sighed, crossing her arms over her chest. She had to remember the sisterhood. Sisterhood. Sisterhood. No matter what.
"I don’t know…" The brunette made the mistake of looking into his gorgeous blue eyes and fell for them. “Oh.. alright, fine." Jerome smiled, taking her hand and pulling her into the dining room.
"Close your eyes," Jerome told her. She was reluctant at first, but did so.
"Where are we going, Jerome?" He hushed her, sitting her down in a chair. When he was sitting across from her, he told her she could open her eyes. Her reaction was priceless. “Wha- what is this?" she asked.
"Dinner. Trudy helped me a bit… well, a bit more than a bit, but nonetheless. Shouldn’t let food go to waste, eh?" he said with a smile. Joy smiled down at everything slightly.
"You know Jerome, maybe I miss judged you. But all this food, and no music?" she joked. A light bulb went off over his head.
"Ah, not a problem, Miss Mercer." The boy stood, turning on a radio that played classic music that had a hint of romantic flavor to it. Jerome went to the side of Joy’s chair and offered her a hand. “May I have this dance?" he asked the girl, keeping a semi straight face. Joy blushed, looking down at the hand that he offered to her. After thinking it over, she took his hand, standing.
"Just this one," she teased. Jerome pulled her into him fiercely. She was kind of shocked, but didn’t let it show much. She put her free hand on Jerome’s shoulder as he gently gripped her waist and they started moving to the music. Both of them refused to break eye contact, dancing for a while. Then, Jerome dipped her again, looking down into the girl’s eyes. There was a second or few of silence, and then it was broken; by one simple question. One phrase;
"Will you go to prom with me?" The girl smiled, blushing.
Hey, Danielle. Happy hoaexchange! And thanks for the thing you gave me. I might actually make a series of these things? But I hope you like this one, despite it being kinda short.
A young Willow Jenks skipped around, smiling brightly and overly-prepared for her first class of the year. Her bag was filled to the brim with sparkly new pencils and unicorn-adorned folders, her hair was tied in its trademark braids, and her uniform was brand new and properly ironed. Everything was perfect and happy in her world.
The other students took notice of this. This girl was too happy and childish for a fourteen year old. Who did she think she was? She wasn’t ten years old.
Jerome Clarke didn’t know much about this girl besides for that she was fairly new and that she wanted to be in Anubis House for some reason. And that she never, never cried. Not even when people picked on her or stole her shiny pencils or subtly tried to stick gum in her hair. He couldn’t say he didn’t think some of these pranks were funny. He couldn’t even say he hadn’t tried to help. But she would always grin at him stupidly whenever he tried to smirk. This girl didn’t break. At all. She had even earned the nickname “Never-Weeping Willow” for it.
And then one day she did.
Jerome and Alfie walked around outside, looking for a good place to play a prank. They needed a tree that they could tie a bucket to that would fall easily on Patricia and Amber.
“You know, I don’t know if I really want to make Amber too mad. I want her to like me.”
“Trust me,” Jerome said. “This’ll make her fall for you fast.”
Really, it wouldn’t do anything but make a bunch of water spill on her head, but Alfie wasn’t exactly the smoothest person on the planet. Besides, he was willing to try anything, pranks were fun, and he trusted Jerome for the most part.
They were setting up their amazing prank when they heard it. A small sob, coming from another direction. Alfie turned to see who it was. To his—and Jerome’s—surprise, it was Willow. Never-Weeping Willow. The girl who was always so happy was now sad.
“You know, you could always cry under the weeping willow tree. The pun addicts would love you.” Jerome glanced over.
She raised her head and looked straight into his eyes, trying to smile.
“Like I don’t know about the stupid nicknames. Anyway, my aura is off…”
And with that, she stopped crying.
Neither Jerome nor Alfie ever found out what she was crying about, but maybe it didn’t matter. They had somehow managed to cheer her up. And they took new appreciation of the nickname after that, even though she wasn’t in any of their classes the next year.
This is for the hoaexchange, a trading group for House of Anubis fanart/fanfiction/etc. - and my assignment was for Laìs (truelovecanbreakanycurse) She listed one of her favourite pairings as Fabian/Nina, so I've drawn that for her - I hope you like it! ^_^
