Thirteen enjoying the autumn walk a few days ago.

I drew this little guy according to tutorial by casmahcreations on YT, because the little dragon on a mushroom really caught my eye. And he turned out so lovely (I think) even if I wasn't really spending much time on it (and that's very diplomatically said lol). Anyway had a great fun and made a drawing (well more like doodle) after some time, so win win! :) It was done with pencil sketch and coloured with Derwent Graphik (stronger lines you see) and Derwent Line&Wash paint pan set (or something like that, actually used few colours from two sets, not sure about the exact name of the thing sorry). The sketchbook is not a watercolour one though.

It was stupid good. So good in fact that the bbc filmed a version and put it on dvd when it debuted. I bought that dvd after I saw the show and put it up on the Internet Archive. The audio is not great but the dancing is spectacular. Ever see a pas de deux around an anatomical dissection? You will.

A scene from How to twist a dragon's tale. It's kind of a spoiler, but it's in the book as illustration too, so if you'd skimmed through the book you could see it too.

I drew a sketch for this picture all those years ago when first drawing HTTYD fanarts, but it seemed to me it turned out surprisingly well and I was afraid I might screw it up when colouring (especially the lava bit (yes, that's a flowing lava)), but when I got to listening to this audio in my relisten, I gathered the courage to finally finish it. And I rather like how it turned out. I think even the lava looks a bit like even when you know what it is supposed to be. :)

After long time some How to train your dragon fanart because I'm rereading (in the case of first 5 (6?) books relisten as audiobooks). This is from How to Cheat a Dragon's Curse and it's Camicazi stealing Vegetable-that-No-one-Dares-name. No, I won't explain anything, read the books. :).

It's actually not quite according the book, she should be tied up by her ankle and not around her wrist, but it would be a shame not to use hanging ref pics by @adorkastock :) (yes, picS, it's combination of two or three pics, which wasn't the best idea, on the other hand, it ended up pretty fine at the end I think :) ) (she also should have her sword but I gave up on trying to draw that there very quickly! :D)

As I mentioned when posting Katniss' sketches, I tried to draw Peeta as well. When drawing the first one, I had on my mind the scene in the train when going to Capitol for the first time, when he (and Katniss) snap at Haymitch (when his advice for them is just "Stay alive"). pose ref for this pic is by @null-entity Second picture isn't any particular scene or something, it was actually first sketch I drew and I just wanted to try to draw Peeta en face and saw the ref pic by birdsistersstock (on deviantart) and drew according to that (but the ref pic has much more bulky winter jacket). I would say it might be in arena but his clothes don't look right, so let's not specify the place or circumstances :D. I think I like these more than the Katniss sketches (likeness-wise), though not really excited about the result. I made two more sketches so far but didn't colour them yet, so maybe somewhen next time... :)
