the sleepy hare 𖧧
rabbits and hares are my favourite animals, aside from birds, and it breaks my heart to know domesticated rabbits are one of the most neglected and abandoned pet in the UK.
our rescues and sanctuaries are almost always at capacity, so please, adopt, don't shop.
they have very strict herbivore diets, so always having access to good quality timothy hay, plus pesticide-free foraged food that they would eat in the wild, such as dandelions (rescues, like Ivy Dene Rabbit Rescue in the UK, often sell dried foraged foods!)
and they have such unique personalities, no two are the same of course!
*always do your research (not using some a/i nonsense, but reputable sources such as rescues and sanctuaries) before considering bringing a being into your life.
ferns!! ferns!! ferns!! ferns!!
oh to be the size of a ladybird, to run along the curling ferns and crest the mossy rocks to look out over the forest floor in wonder!!
mini leaf garland ⸙
and my housemate's fingies!!
paper embroidery!!
I had the question pop into my head, what would it look like to sew on paper? apparently, upon my research beforehand, it has been done plenty of times, but I wanted to try anyway!
My adventures have taken me far and wide, through barren snow-covered mountains, to peaceful sun-soaked grasslands. But nothing compares to the effervescent forests of this realm. Moss blankets every inch of the woodland in hues of green and browns, and the ivy hugs tree trunks the width of a dragon's wing. I must admit, I found myself yearning to diminish down, to the size of the squirrels that traverse the wooded space, only so I could truly appreciate the beauty of such flora.
Perhaps the local sorcerer or alchemist may trade me a shrinking potion for that awful whispering stone I picked up in the goblin marshes.

tiny patch pictures!!
I got this top second-hand and immediately knew I had to sew some little patches onto it. I adore it so much, I'm wearing it as I type this!!

moss and ferns, some of my favourite things ₊‧ 𖧧
but did you know that the often dead and rotting logs that these wonderful fungi, lichens and plants grow on, are a mini ecosystem on their own? so many animals rely on the organic material, not just insects but mammals too! and that is why if you see a fallen long, trunk or rotting stump, you shouldn't remove it, as the janitors of nature will move in and make it their home!
