So I think we are all well-aware of the concept of a  a character being a 'Distingished-Passing Disater' (Miles Edgeworth, Rose Quartz, Juri Arisugawa) But can a character be a "Disater-Passing Distingished'? 

I propose: Phoenix Wright during Apollo Justice: Ace Attorney

As a Lawyer, Phoenix barely breaks into Functional Bi. But HoboNick got the entire courtroom to dance to his tune while he was the one accused of murder. Plus be a loving and supporting father to his daughter, in spite of his own emoional issues. AND he moonlighted as the goddam head of a committee to introduce the Jury System to Japanifornia Court. And yeah, he's dressed... well... like a Hobo. His actual budget is probably in the toilet, but he's got his rich boyfriend somewhere off-screen, taking him to Fancy Dates or sending solve murders in Europe while staying in five-stars hotels. And he also has his Rich Evil Boyfriend who he's tricking into thinking he's tricking him into thinking he likes him and probably mooches the Good Life outta him sometimes.

It begins Apollo's first client. Geez talk about being thrown in at the deep end. He haa the hardest of all of the lawyers. Phoenix had Larry as a defendant Mia had Terry Fawles ( and Feenie) Athena had Juniper. But Apollo???? This Smarmy bastard.
