What if Legend went to Termina?! So many headcanons are whirling in my head.
He had to save Termina because Time died before he even reached his second quest? Or because he got tricked like Time?
What if.... so many what ifs.....
I like this train of thought, it's fun to think about. What about you?
(also sorry I haven't chatted with you in a while, my brain was empty. Ironically enough, as soon as I break my finger the ideas start coming at me full force lol)
Wait you broke your finger??? What??? For real?! I hope you're ok! 🙏
For the question... Legend in Termina would be GREAT. character development and Trauma wise. Koholint but much MUCH worse. Especially of he's already lived through Koholint then this will only remind him of that.
This idea actually reminds me of another idea I had forever ago. I didn't have much of anything put together but it was fun to entertain for a bit. (This kind of strays from your question and I'm sorry for that)
so, something happens, rest of the chain were either cursed somehow or kidnapped and unable to be freed. Though, Legend was untouched because there IS a way to save them, but only one person could do it. And, well, it's him. Hylia herself saved him from whatever happened to the others.
Now, he has to save them, and to do so, he has to literally live their adventures. kind of like a Termina/Koholint scenario where it's the other persons dream in a way.
So boom Legend's life gets 100 times worse because now he has at least eight other adventures to go through. maybe more if he has to do ALL of their adventures.
so, for example, we'll take Twilight's adventure and stick Legend in it. Rusl, Ilia, Colin, all the people Twilight would interact with just see Legend as the hero of Twilight.
It's basically a simulation and the only purpose is for Legend to live through this simulation, grow attached to people who won't even remember him because the ones he met aren't even the real them, and then leave, only to immediately be thrown into a new adventure seconds after an intense battle with Ganondorf or some other big bad dude.
Though, as fun as that idea is, it takes away from the others too much. It takes away their individual experiences, all their secrets and things that made them the hero they are. I wouldn't write a whole 37 chapter fic for this (even if I could T-T) but maybe if I ever have the motivation to I'll write some small scenes.
Also, if anyone wanted to ask me questions about it I would happily answer them. Like... things about the others and their experience with this or Legends thought process and slow descent into madness. things like that 😊
I call this the "hero of countless Legends AU" or just "hocl au"
I've come up with a treatment for my ear infection that is not "getting a doctor to prescribe me antibiotics", but "squirt hypochlorous acid* into the ear".
(I'm pretty sure I have a permanent lesion in my eardrum from an infection in 2011, because I constantly get minor infections, especially when I get water in my ear. This time I got the infection from "where are my earplugs, oh let's just be careful" when washing my hair, and it got MEAN, with a fever, when I was hit by a cold gust of wind last week.)
The pros of this are
no doctor trying to rip off my mask and then still denying me antibiotics
no antibiotics
The con is that it hurts like shit :))) But yay, fever is finally going down.
* This is not dangerous. HOCl is the stuff our white blood cells produce to fight bacteria and viruses. You can clean wounds with it. I disinfect produce from the shops with it. You could drink it if it didn't taste utterly vile. (I rinse the apples with water afterwards.) And you get more (soapy/unsterile) water into your ears during a bath than the amount of sterile liquid I squirt into my ear. It just hurts because the eardrum/inner ear is infected.
Now let's see if I'm going to sound myself next time I get a UTI.
"...and unlike hand sanitizer if the adorable little..." fools "...eat it, absolutely nothing happens."
The word used was not included in the quote bc it's an ableist slur (id*ot).
This is fascinating and makes me want to switch. A far more effective product, means of sanitizing and cheaper sounds like a win win! I'm gonna tell my mom about it today!

Can confirm that amber glass bottles stored in the dark will extend homemade HOCl's life from one week to three (at about 180ppm chlorine) with very little strength degradation.
(ignore my gut and legs lol) I have started production on the kitchen/heavy duty batch, which I make stronger than the bathroom batch—the bathroom batch does double duty on surfaces, tools (like combs and brushes), and problematic skin. (Okay, that's triple, sue me lol) 100ppm is usually strong enough for that batch—and strong enough for most things, tbh, according to the research.
But I like having a stronger batch for the kitchen so I can use a shorter contact time, as well as for straight up sanitizing and extending the functional life of a sponge. (Experiment in progress, will report later).
Speaking of experiments: I can also confirm it freshens as well as commercial laundry sanitizer in a regular load. Money back in my pockets!
