The fine people over at HohmTech have really set the standard high for American made mods in the past with their Hohm Wrecker and Hohm Wrecker G2 devices. They use a proprietary chip manufacturer that you wont see in the devices manufactured over in China, called FSK (FlagShip Killer). The use of their chips really sets the devices HohmTech stuff apart from the rest. They have extremely high quality and more options than you’ll find on nearly any other device.. but without having a bunch of clunky and improperly worded menus to navigate through. The new Hohm Slice is ran off of a single 26650 battery (Yep, they are finally starting to get these bad boys out there..) which allows for a small package with a big punch. It has the ability to run up to 101 watts in wattage mode, which for the vast majority of vapers is enough power with ease. It also has the ability to run in temperature control for a BUNCH of different wire types. The typical Ni, Ti, and SS but also NiCr (Nichrome), W (Tungsten [Many of the ceramic coils coming out have Tungsten inner wires]) and even… yep, you guessed it.. KANTHAL. There have been people saying it couldn’t be done and this and that but I personally used it on the Hohm Wrecker G2 without issue so I feel confident in saying that the Kanthal TC will work without issue. PLUS, Unlike most devices that only operate TC with SS316, the Hohm Slice gives you the ability to use 304, 316, 317, and 430 stainless steel wire types. They have really outdone themselves with this device and I honestly think that the competition has their work cut out for them if they want to be on par with the caliber of devices coming out of this camp.
