i post a lot about hoh!dean but what about hoh!jo... she goes on that hunt with gordon where he uses her as bait and it goes wrong in a way that she loses some of her hearing. gets injured and some of it goes and never comes back. and in one way she's proud to have sustained an injury in the name of hunting and in another way she's grieving the way her body has changed beyond her control and and in another way it's just a neutral event she doesn't quite feel tied to and in another way when she meets dean who is also blatantly hard of hearing she feels even crazier about wanting to be like him

hi reminder that dean is very likely HoH at the end of the series. lifetime exposure to close range gunshots will do that to someone. & if the writers were good, they would have done this instead of making him suddenly lactose intolerant

inspo @mrcowboydeanwinchester here’s dean with his favourite aids (the cane is impala customised, he calls it baby 2.0) not visible, but he also has chronic fatigue and PTSD. he is learning to respect his limits and be a bit kinder to himself
