Moss, I suppose. My question is whether there are any ways to be perceived as more fae-like. Ways of fashion, mannerisms, makeup, places to spend time? You can totally ignore this if it offends you, that is not at all my intention. Thank you!

We are not offended by a well meant question. While envy can be dangerous when allowed to wrest control and poison your heart with feelings of inadequacy and spite, you might find that there is a distinction between envy and admiration. Many folk do not wear clothes, not seeing the use in them. But others like great fancy things. Flowing gowns from eras long gone that they were there to see at the heights of fashion, cloaks and coats with fine intricate details and rich materials. Some prefer modern wear, blending in with anyone and everyone on the street from teenagers to an old homeless lady pushing a shopping cart loaded with her things. Others do not try to follow human fashions at all but wear clothing that might have stepped right out of a fantasy novel about some other world with bright colors, flowers, beautiful designs, or many other things. In the end it doesn’t matter what you wear as far as clothing and makeup. The garments are not important. What is important is how you hold yourself. Faerie folk are not human, not in the least bit. Even those few who appear human, or humanoid, are so far removed from humanity that they might as well be shaped differently for all it matters. But with a quick glamour they can all make themselves appear to be human. Of course, there are things that will give them away. Confidence in themselves for one. Hold back your shoulders and lift high your head. You wish to be Fae like? Forget humanity. You must be above it, beyond it. Look where you wish to look, feel what you wish to feel, say what you wish to say. Disregard human social patterns. Be true and nothing but true. Do not be rude, the folk hold manners in high regard, but be true to who you are. If you see a pretty pebble on the ground and find in your heart a desire for it...pick it up. If you remember a song you wish to sing but find yourself in a crowded place...sing it anyway. Stand tall and look with eyes wide with intensity. When people speak with you, look them in the eye and speak back with the knowledge that you are something that they could never fully understand, something powerful and ancient. While you must be true to yourself, you may twist your words. Play games with people’s statements. Twist what they say so that they say what they didn’t mean to. Take things out of context, find words that sound exactly the same but mean something different and pretend to not know what they are talking about when you purposefully misunderstand what they’ve asked of you. But never lie. Never ever speak a direct falsehood. Even to yourself. You make deals and bargains and always keep your word, no matter how trivial or inconvenient. Be known for keeping your word, even if your word is not exactly what people thought it to be when you said it. You may wish to be careful of the things you promise to do, even a light promise can become a nuisance later when you must always keep your word to the letter. As for places to spend time, you may go anywhere. There is no place that the Fae do not wander. But if you wish to be perceived as Faerie, then linger near gardens and trees, walk in parks with a parasol or a walking stick, ride a horse elegantly along a city street. Go places and be unexpected and daring and beautiful. Your appearance is irrelevant. An afterthought. It is you that they will see. The things you do, the way you hold yourself and act, what you say. If you want to unnerve someone, and you will, hold your eyes wide wide wide open and look into their eyes with intense interest as they speak. Curl the corner of your mouth into a knowing smile that is ready to slip into a snarl at any moment. You are not human, you are Fae, you are wild and free and above all...you are dangerous.

I got to where I am with only 3 people sticking by me and one of those is my mother. Once I get through this, the mother fuckers that turned their back on me at the pivotal moments can never access me again.

People I would've given anything for and PLEADED with for understanding dropped me like hot shit to chase shinier friends.

You never really know what you're capable of until you put yourself back together completely your own. Yes I had people to support me, but all the deep processing, all my inner feelings, the nights where you feel so empty and want to give up. I did it all by myself and I STILL WIN.
