Madly in LOVE w/ the Chicken! (HOLDAK)
I'm in love!!!! With the Chicken! hahaha:-)
Hi guys, its me again with another eating experience! So, there is this new restaurant that serves crispy chicken! Thanks to my friend/ partner in EATING, Hazel, for inviting me to go with her at the Bloggers' Night in Holdak Chicken.
Holdak Chicken, is a restaurant that originated in Busan, South Korea which specializes in AUTHENTIC KOREAN STYLED fried chicken. They fry the boneless chicken(thigh part) perfectly combined with their signature sauces that adds twist to the taste of the chicken.
Holdak Chicken became very popular in Korea, so it began to expand and opened a branch in China and Japan. Now, its here in the Philippines and it is located near SM Sta. Mesa. Cool, huh? People can now try what does the real Korean Chicken taste like! :-)
Holdak Chicken has four signature flavors: Yang-Nyam, Spicy Yang-Nyam, Padak, and Jack Daniels.
This is Yang-Nyam, it has this sweet, sour, salty and a little bit of spicy combination that makes it interesting and appetizing that would make you want to eat more! :-)
Spicy Yang-Nyam, the spicy version of their original Yang-Nyam. I just tried a little bit of this flavor. I am not really fond of eating spicy so for me this is the flavor that I like less. hihi But for spicy lovers order this, coz it is REALLY SPICY!
Padak, really asian! It has this zesty asian flavor, because of the spring onion that enhances the taste of the chicken! Yummy! :-)
Jack Daniel's, this is my FAVORITE flavor! It has this sweet flavor, maybe because of the caramelized onion that helped in enhancing its flavor. Filipinos will surely love this flavor. As for me, I am really fond of eating sweets that is why I love this flavor because of its sweetness and crispiness! :-)
They were able to maintain the crispiness of the chicken even if the sauce was already poured over the chicken. The taste was amazing!:-) I will surely go back and bring friends with me too!:-)
Other foods that I was able to try:
Curry Fries, it was ok. I think it would be better if they can improve it, in such a way that, the crispiness of the fries will be maintained even if it's not hot anymore. :-)
We tried their Cheese Ramen too! This Ramen soup is perfect for the rainy season!:-)
And of course, the dessert, Melona Ice Bars Melon and strawberry flavors!:-)
