We should talk about Holdaway more.
He wasn't just Freddy's handler and friend, he was his mentor. They seem to have history.
How did Holdaway react to the aftermath of the operation? Did he feel guilty for what happened? When he found Freddy's dead body in Larry's arms? Did he move on?
An Archive of Our Own, a project of the Organization for Transformative Works
Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: Reservoir Dogs (1992) Rating: Mature Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Creamsicle - Relationship, Freddy/Larry, Orange/White Characters: Holdaway, Freddy Newandyke, Larry Dimmick, Joe Cabot, Original Female Character Additional Tags: AU, the robbery happens, everyone’s caught, Nobody Dies, Holdaway POV, I’m only tagging characters with speaking lines, Homophobic Language, terrible coworkers, Freddy POV at the end, Canon-typical language Summary:
Title inspired by the song of the same name by The Main Ingredient. Holdaway couldn’t be prouder; Freddy survives his first case undercover, the Cabots are behind bars, and no one was hurt. Holdaway, however, is concerned about his former student’s wellbeing. By the time Freddy is cleared for work, he’s no longer acting like himself. Holdaway now has to consider if catching Joe Cabot was worth twisting Freddy into the person he’s now become.
[Fic] Don't Fuck This Up
I had the absolute pleasure of working together with my friends on the @resdogsworkzine! I wrote a little piece about Freddy and Holdaway's friendship... I think I managed to do it justice and packed in both humor and the inevitable tragedy. It was really fun to write this and I hope that shows. Summary: Holdaway's job is to make sure Freddy does his job. Freddy's gotta blend in with Cabot's squad, sure, but none of this making-friends-with-people-you-work-with shit.
If only he could take his own advice. >>Read "Don't Fuck This Up" on ao3<<

Am I seriously doing this. Am I actually making this. Ah well.
This is still part of the scenes-taken-from-lilo-and-stitch
Rejected panels ( it’s coloured but a bit too far from the original material, plus i don’t like it I didn’t draw it right ) below
Title: Coming Round The Mountain Fandom: Reservoir Dogs Pairing(s): Mostly gen, Holdaway-centric, background Mr Orange/Mr White Warnings: Some mentions of police brutality Summary: A familiar face shows up where he doesn't want it, prompting Holdaway to take action over the sins of his past
Back when I was running Vice in LA I saw cops – good cops, mind. Real straight edge types – get so caught up in the role that they did shit worse than the guys they were supposed to be bringing in.
