I'm gonna nerd out about this edit just because I can...!

So the idea was that Ilya's trying to remember his sexy times with Shane but can't seems to concentrate on that. He keeps thinking about their kisses and those fucking stunning freckless ! And because we like a bit of angst, he's also reminiscing the heartbreaks of the tuna melt and the club...

I was gonna use the "dreamy" transition in the begining more often, but it felt too much and unnecesary so...

The fade in + transparancy is meant to show the memories that pushes through and as they invade more and more the front seat, the become more opaque. Then when Ilya shoves them off to the back of his mind, you have this shaking effect

I love the montage of Shane smiling at Ilya or just looking at him, that flashes faster and faster. Really happy with how it came out.

I don't really like the bit where the kisses all stack over Shane standing in the club. It looked better in my head 😂 but I kept it anyway

Did I duplicate and mirrored some of the clips because they are just too good to be that short? Absolutely and I regret nothing 🔥

I wasn't sure how to comunicate the frustration but then I figured adding the "fuck this shit" could work. Not like Ilya says it out loud, but you know, shouting in his own head ?

The last part of the edit came pretty early in the process (all the hot doggie shots) and that's the main reason I edited the song. It's a bit wonky but I moved the bridge to the end because it was perfect for those shots!

The most satisfying part will always be synchronizing the video on the music. I'm really proud of some of them 😁
