The Holocaust Museum in Jerusalem is one of the most impressive museums you can visit while touring the Holy Land. The story unlike the old museum is not meant to shock the visitors or to traumatize them by showing them a pile of glasses or a heap of human here. On the contrary, it meant for those that need to hear the story for the first time there it meant more to educate and retell the story from the very basic concepts. In this photo you can see the one of the most sacred monuments in Yadvashem - Ohel Yizkor. The Holocaust Unfolds Exhibit Opening

Unlike mainstream media at the time, The Detroit Jewish News and its predecessor, the Detroit Jewish Chronicle, continually reported on Nazi atrocities during the Holocaust. On January 27th, we will be hosting the Holocaust Unfolds Exhibit. This exhibit shows what we now know as The Holocaust as it unfolded in the pages of the Detroit Jewish News and Chronicle.
