I think Svetlana Alliluyeva (neé Stalina) and Anne Frank would've been friends because both were outcasts: Anne because of her Jewish origin and Svetlana because she was the daughter of the Soviet leader Joseph Stalin. Plus, both loved to write and were born in the same generation: Anne was born in 1929 while Svetlana was born in 1926, meaning they'd be only 4 years apart.

Ever since Hitler came into power it had not been looking good for the jews. He was spreading hateful propaganda about them. None of it was true. I knew that. Hes making all of them wear the star of David on all of their clothes. I heard the ones who were taken by the Nazi's were given Only A Moment to pack a small bag before they were taken to the concentration camps
I hadnt heard anything else about the Nazi's or Hitler. Then came the day when I recieved call from my good friend. She said she saw a man and what she presumed to be both of his children, being escorted out of their homes. She said she heard the Gestapo completely destroying the house looking for them. she said from what she saw and heard they were given Only A Moment to pack a small bag before they were taken to the concentration camps.
I thought everything had died down a bit, then came the day when I recieved another phone call, it was a bit spontaneous, I remembered the last call i got was a month ago and it was news that a man had been taken with his children. But none the less i picked it up. It was my good friends neighbors. They said she had been taken from where she had been hiding after all this time. They found her and they found the owners of the building she was hiding in. They asked where the gestapo were taking them. They said it would take Only A Moment. It wouldn't.
I had been living in constant anxiety and paranoia, then came the day where I received yet another call. I knew it couldn't be good. I had been recieving was bad news from everyone, it was almost impossible to pick up the phone this time, but I did anyway, it was my father's vegetable man, he told me my parents had been taken by the gestapo and they wanted me next. He said one of them came up to him in his store and asked him if he knew my whereabouts, he said no. He urged me to pack my things so I could hide in the abandoned 5th floor of the shop. I had to, it was my only chance at surviving, so I put on as many clothes as I possibly could, got my cat and his things, and left, making sure it had looked like i had already been taken or had immigrated to france. but I didn't know it would take Only a Moment for things to take a turn for the worst.
I had been hiding in the abandoned floor for about 10 months, everything was fine. I couldn't move around during the day much, i would mostly just sleep all day and wake up during the evening when there was nobody thereFrance. Feed my cat, Schatzi. It was peaceful, no phone calls, no letters, just face to face conversations with the vegetable man's son, Oskar. Oskar was the one who brought me food, news, and little things from the outside. I had grown very attached to him and it feels he felt the same way towards me. When he would visit me, he would stay for a while, and when I was with him it felt as if, for Only a Moment, the world stopped spinning and it was just me and him
I had been recieving wonderful news from Oskar, the invasion has begun, troops and soldiers from everywhere are here! I was so happy that I could finally live a life without fear! I had been documenting all the progress the allies have made to stop the Nazi's. Me and Oskar danced like we couldn't do anything else! I could finally see the outside again! Schatzi and I had been much happier latley but I didnt know that in Only A Moment, we wouldn't be so happy anymore..
Everything had been wonderful! That was until Oskar came again, but with horrible news.. he said that the Nazi's were getting as many jews as they could and deporting them to concentration camps at a rapid pace. I told him they hadn't found me all this time why would they find me now. He told me just to be careful and be quiet and if anybody came storming in, to wreck everything and hide with Schatzi. I agreed and told him to have a good day after giving him a hug goodbye...I was drawing pictures of flowers and gardens and beautiful meadows that day. I felt like nothing could stop me and schatzi. Not even the sirens of the gestapo truck and the hault it came to at the front of the building. I didn't even hear it. I didn't even notice. I was so focused i didn't even hear them barge into the closed building, glass breaking, things being thrown etc. I was immersed in my beautiful drawing when all of the sudden, a gestapo officer busted down the door, i jumped up, standing upright immediately, my tensed muscles quickly loosened, realizing it was over for me, I walked to schatzi, defeated, gave him a kiss and a pet, the officer pointed his rifle in my face and other soldiers came in to search the area. They took schatzi and then the officer screamed in my face "Beeilt euch!!! Holt eure Sachen jetzt!!!" thats when I was given Only A Moment to pack a small bag before I was taken to a concentration camp...
In the final weeks of World War II, British forces arrived at the Bergen-Belsen concentration camp, where they discovered a humanitarian crisis beyond anything they had prepared for. The camp had collapsed under the weight of overcrowding, disease, and severe shortages. Basic systems had broken down completely. Food was scarce, medical care was nearly nonexistent, and sanitation had failed. Thousands of prisoners were left in extremely weakened conditions, many unable to stand or move.
