omg is the reason the Groundhog Day situation is happening is because Scully is immortal?!
.
holy fuck one of my friends just got spiked and it was literally the scariest thing ever ;___;
So then four of us were sat in the kitchen, the people who'd walked all got back, and most of them went off to bed so there was just the four of us in the kitchen. We were literally just sat round the table, so chill, talking about like how much we missed f.r.i.e.n.d.s and how glee's gotten kind of crap and all this - we'd been home for like, just over an hour now?
Then like, all of a sudden, kitchen door BURSTS open, and one of the people who I thought had walked fell in the door (ok for ease of explanation, i'll name people now - the faller through the door is called Henry), and was like, in a properly scary, grown up voice "I need you to come out into the hallway and help me with Megan, now"
And we just sat there for a second, like, what?? And he was like "Seriously. She's been spiked. She hasn't drunk hardly anything, we were at the bar, and then all of a sudden she just went mental, and then fainted"
So we run out into the hallway, and Megan's halfway up the corridor, like just standing there, and she looks really weird, like her eyes are rolling and her face is lopsided and her body's all limp - and this is scary, 'cause Megan's like, relatively hardcore, she does coke and shit, and she's literally behaving like a 3 year old child.
So we were like, "come on, into the kitchen, sit down", and she couldn't talk, and she was like "n- no., shg, nono, n-", but we got her in, and then Robynne - one of the first 4 in the kitchen - went and got Bekah, I think. Bekah is infuckingcredible. Seriously.
She's worked at a bar for like 4 years or something? And she used to be addicted to some hardcore shit, so she's pretty clued up, and I guess we all knew this, but I'd never seen her.... idk, in action like this before? Like, she's just a regular teenager. I wouldn't have known what to do.
But she came in, had the situation assessed in seconds, and had Meg sit down. She was brilliant. Basically she needed Meg to down salt water so she could throw up whatever was in her system, but we needed the keys to Meg's room so there was somewhere where she could throw up. But she wouldn't give Henry the keys. She couldn't talk, it was almost like she was having a stroke? And Bekah was just, bam; on the other side of the table, hands down on it, and made her make eye contact, and she was like "Megan, are you drunk?" and Meg was like, "N-mnn, I don't, I'm not" and Bekah was like, "Have you - look at me, Megan! Have. You. Been. Spiked?" and Megan started getting all defensive and angry, but she still couldn't really move or speak, and she was like "n-n, i havn'td one any thig n o i" and Bekah just talked her through it; I mean, not in a nice, "shhh you'll be okay" way, but in a "you are in danger and i'm going to shout at you until you wise up because that's what you need". She made her realise she'd been spiked, and got her keys off her, and made her drink the salt water.
Then we got her into bed and she passed out. Henry's sleeping in the same room as her incase something happens in the night - she's not thrown up yet. Henry explained, once we'd dealt with her, that after she collapsed, the bouncers called a taxi for them and they had to borrow money and stuff to get her back - he's a fucking hero for getting her here.
Him and Bekah though, seriously. Bekah is the sort of person you want in your life. She is properly fucking incredible, as soon as anyone's in any sort of trouble, she's just like, "Mate, you're coming home". She's hard as nails, but 100% genuine and nice.
I just can't even deal. I was so scared. Like, I've done stuff, and I've been around people who've done stuff, but never around someone who's been roofied or spiked or whatever.
Bekah said she'd seen someone spiked before with the same results, and she thinks it's this thing that makes you really hyper for about 15 minutes, and then makes you sleepy, and then paralyses you for a while. Basically, it's a rape drug.
And I mean, this happened at our university bar. That's scary. Genuinely horrible.
She's comatose now. I really can't wait 'til morning.
I need to do some deep breathing or shit, I just realised I've been holding my breath in basically while I typed this.
