This Hazbin Hotel collage is of Lucifer Morningstar and Abel, even though though there are people who have shipped Lucifer with Abel's parents, and the theory that Lucifer might be Cain's real dad, I thought this collage would be fun to make. As it allows me to do another collage on the two characters.

From what I understand this ship has been called AppleHerd, but if any of you have any ideas on what else it could be called, please share in the comments.

I KNOW, I eat that shit up for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and then have it as my side of dessert too. The complex relationship between Lucifer and Michael is as old as time itself because a lot of people really enjoy stories about lovers being coded as rivals. If this weren't true, I dare ask why Sasuke and Naruto are so Goddamn popular even if they're toxic, eh? Having said that, the default interpretation for Lucifer and Michael is that OF brothers. I understand where this comes from since Lucifer and Michael are created as being 'twin' entities that mirror each other, so I don't think it's a bad take to have them be brothers. Having said that, there is so much that can be done with the way they bounce of off each other and the default interpretation being brothers really bums me out. It's only been recently that I've seen stories about them break this mold, so any rare thing I see that has them being bickering lovers really gets me giddy as a result.

WHICH IS TO SAY (thank you for staying tuned to my rambling) that Vizi will probably stick to her interpretation of them being siblings by default because that is the default. I would really LOVE if she didn't do so because I think it'd be fun to create some romantic tension beween the two, but ah, the general trend when it comes to these two is to do that. That is not to say that it's impossible - I've seen so many fun things recently that defy the mold - but I've noticed that product is either super niche (like a fanfic) or super recent (like Angels Before Man). Creating a homoerotic rivalry between two characters that are perceived to be related is a LOT, but I have seen it done. I pray Vivi gets it done, but I won't hold it against her if that's not what she wants. It's her product, her choice, her show.

(Either way, though, that's why fanfiction exists and I have two hands 😇)
