Finished splitting wood for the winter. This was a complicated couple of months for us so it took a bit longer to finish. The holzhausen is just under 4 meters in diameter and not quite 2 meters tall. Beautiful wife for scale.

Won’t be safe to seriously get back in the forge for a few more weeks. Like many of the folks who are full time Creede residents, spending time with winter chores. About 3 chords over the past few days. For the curious: The one on the right is about 66”H x 96”D. The one on the left is 60”H x 120” D.
