a little late HAPPY BIRTHDAY! @wasabitonic
I had this fruit kick goin’ on with a couple of cool folks, and I love the characters I made during that time. May I introduce Husk the coconut, Piña the Pineapple, and Pitaya the dragonfruit. A tropical bunch of friends.
You can trust Husk will always be present with a hearty glass of liquor, or at the very least, a fruity umbrella, but not much of anything else. He’s a lazy island bum who wants to sit back and relax all day every day, and does! He’s really living the dream. Apparently he used to have a pretty busy life prior, but doesn’t remember a lick of it, nor does he care to.
Piña is all about organization and the well being of others. She obsessively appoints herself as manager of any event she’s a part of just to keep her mind occupied, and is darn good at worming her way into various situations. Though she’s intrusive and excitable, she genuinely cares for the people she helps. She especially cares for Husk, whose past she remembers more clearly than he does, which most likely is a big source of the anxiety she’s been wrought with.
Pitaya, the firebreathing dragonfruit is always ready to rumble. Her affection is shown through tough love, and she is rather affectionate! She doesn’t understand subtlety too well and isn’t interested in learning. She just wants to have a good time, a good fight, and a big adventure.
The last picture features other characters they interact with, including Q’s Cantelope and Ken’s Lime. Last and least, my fruitsona Home Slice, haha.
