Research process for one of my oc called Veïn Leosanguinis, manakin (homebrew race) Esoterist. I think I will post my homebrew content but dunno for the moment.

Lobsterfolk create villages on the ocean floor and live peaceful, though somewhat primal: farming seaweed, hunting fish, and fighting all manner of underwater monsters. Though their towns are far spread apart and infrequently found by other sentient races, they enjoy showing their visitors the greatest hospitality they can.

Ability Score Increase. Your Strength increases by one and your Constitution increases by two

Age. Lobsterfolk reach maturity around age 5 and can live up to 100 years.

Alignment. Lobsterfolk tend toward true neutral. Living at the bottom of the sea means most have no desire to get involved in external affairs.

Size. Tritons are slightly taller than humans, averaging about 7 feet tall. Your size is Medium.

Speed. Your base walking speed is 30 feet, and you have a swimming speed of 30 feet.

Amphibious. You can breathe air and water.

Hard Shell. You get resistance to bludgeoning damage and slashing damage

Underwater Citizen. You gain proficiency in Survival and one toolset of choice.

Languages. You can speak, read, and write Common.

Lobsterfolk appear to be humanoid lobsters because they are humanoid lobsters. Most specimens are brown, dark purple-red, or dark blue. On rare occasions, a red lobsterfolk is born. These specimens are often seen as the most likely to leave their underwater home and seek out adventure.

My most recent sunlight solnar as a kid with one of her moms! I’m still deciding on her other mom’s design, but I know I want her to be something other than a solnar 
Maybe she and that mermaid from my last post can be sisters? Definitely considering that
