I feel you on the Victoria lockdown. I honestly reckon we will be down until NSW can get it's cases under control, because from the press conference last night, you could definitely see Dan Andrews frustration!

Yeah, I suspect you're right. I do think it's at least going to blow out past the five days (my current guess is three weeks, but I'm hoping for two), especially with the MCG and the highschool cases.

The situation in NSW is insane at this point and the lack of clarification around essential work feels borderline criminal to me. To not clarify thrusts the onerous of whether or not to open onto businesses, and you have places that exploit that for capitalistic gain (i.e. fucking Gucci) and, worse, small businesses just trying to work out how to keep the lights on. They need to be doing what Victoria did, which is closing every non-essential business down, and creating financial support packages to support the businesses who need it.

For 'Gold Standard' Gladys to not only evade the question, but pretend other states didn't clarify either is an outright lie and is doing nothing to help build the trust she lost by screwing a politician with corruption charges against him. It's absurd at this point.

LIFE IN LOCKDOWN UPDATE!!!

The last two days in a row we’ve recorded 0 new cases, and 0 deaths.

We’ve had a few restrictions lifted so far, but if things go right and people don’t do stupid things, then all restrictions will be lifted in Melbourne on November 8th!!!

This will be before the Supernatural finale, and I’ll get to see it with a few of my SPN Family friends, who I haven’t seen since January!!! When the announcement came yesterday, I burst into tears. It’s been a tough few months being on incredibly strict restrictions, but everyone here has put everything into this fight, to get the numbers down.

I’m proud to be a Melbournian! ❤️
