After thinking for a few months about building my own chainsawhand I bit the bullet and picked up a reasonably priced broken Homelite XL2. Its metal rsther than plastic so it won't be screen accurate and a bit heavy for cosplay but the plastic XL is a rare beast in the uk and I'm damned if I'm spunking £70+ on shipping from the states.
