In the Exhibition photos the Top large-scale painting and the bottom right greyscale paintings are mine, the lovely blue one is not :)
This is one of my acrylic paintings that’s in a group exhibition at HOME mcr until March 2025 ( my first exhibition !!) I didn’t intend for it to be in the exhibition as I thought it was silly but I’m happy it is cos it’s quite nice. Sadly it’s unfinished, meant to have feathers and gold accents in the halo, and oil paint in colour over the greyscale as I wanted to test out a new technique and media, but I decided to present it anyway as it kind of looks somber and cute, and maybe I can re-exhibit it next year when it’s fully developed and my skill has improved :)
The painting was of Castiel from Supernatural, I quite like his character and I guess his story practically gave a whole newer reading into the connection someone can have with religion and god that I really liked. Misha Collins is wonderful and I hope to improve by drawing my favourite characters over again.
The other painting I exhibited I'll make a more in depth post about as there's quite a lot going on to analyse and I think it deserves its own post.
Any ideas of who I can paint or any techniques to try ⁉️🤭
