Easy 5 Ingredient Vegan Caramel
Easy 5 Ingredient Vegan Caramel
*Best for caramel apples/dipping! *
* I came up with this recipe on Halloween when a few of my friends and I decided we really wanted caramel apples. They didn’t want to leave me out as I am the only vegan, so I decided to get creative in the kitchen and it worked!
* We dipped apples and graham crackers in this, and we stored extras in the fridge that we later put on toast!
Ingredients
½ Cup of coconut oil
¼ cup of agave
1 cup of peanut butter (roughly)
½ cup of chocolate chips (or cocoa powder)
Sea Salt to taste
Directions
In a medium pot (in my case a rice cooker), add in your oil and agave on medium heat and allow to melt together, stirring every few minutes. This should take about three minutes
Once combined, add in ½ cup of peanut butter and stir slowly and allow the peanut butter to combine
Slowly add in the rest of the peanut butter, then add the cocoa powder / chocolate chips
Stir and allow to sit on low for five minutes
Add salt to taste! It’s that easy!
Store leftovers in the fridge, in my experience it will turn almost into an easily meltable fudge. Just reheat if you want to continue to use it as a dip!
If you try this recipe please let me know if you liked it!
hi guys
I’m living on my own in Chicago right now and come summer time, I’ll be supporting myself. I cannot go to live with my dad because he is abusive and it’s a very toxic environment for me. and I’m very mentally ill and cannot hold a job and attend school at the same time. so this summer, I will be getting a job, but by the fall I don’t know if I can continue working and being a full time student. but I’m doing all I can to stay out here in Chicago.
I hate the idea of this, like, asking for financial help, but I really need help.
so heres the deal. I’m not good at photoshop or anything and I don’t visual art. but I do make bracelets, both beaded and threaded. the beaded ones I add names/words/players names/players #’s to. so if you guys want to message me with requests, I’ll make you one for like, $2 via paypal, venmo, whatever. & idk I think $2 sounds fair?
if you want one, are interested, etc. message me!
and please, even just a reblog on this would super help to like, get the word around?
