Its an on and off relationship but I do like it. Lol then I get tired of it ... then start again.

I dont really like flowers like that since I feel like they all smell the same... but i do like lavander!

Would you travel back in time? To when?

I'd probably travel to the 90s. Back when the cartoons I liked were still showing and popular 😭😭😭. Rip ed edd and eddy, courage, codename: kids next door...etc

Favorite game?

Mafia is fun (it's basically a murder mystery game played with a group. Everyone gets a character role ) and also unstable unicorns (card game)

Booksmart. Its a really good movie

Tfw you HATE BEING TOUCHED unless you initiate it and your little sister goes the extra mile and touches you in inappropriate places (like my butt) and also hits me all the time but mom won't do anything bc I'm just too sensitive and need to get over myself. -honeydew

24) Best book you’ve had to read for a course?

Journey to the West. Honestly, Journey to the West is really good. Its a old classical Chinese novel about a troublesome monkey who become as strong as the gods and challenges them. He's pretty funny. I love how after I read the book, I noticed the webtoon God of Highschool main character is very similar ,if not based on, this character. Also there's similarities to goku from DragonBall (just the tail, staff and cloud properties and not story wise)

Are you involved in any clubs/societies/extracurriculars?

I am! Im the president of the Political Science Club for the 2nd year now and im now apart of the academic senate at my school. On Aug I will end my role as a director rep for NYPIRG, which is a student run nonprofit used to campaign multiple social issues. Im also a member of the political cultural community in student government. 😅😅😅 I got pretty busy junior year

I'm a strong believer that snacks and a nap cures all stress ailments.

Just as good: face masks, candles/incense and a can of beer while watching cartoons.

Not a Feel

- Is it related to autism/sensory stuff to repetitively do things that I know will hurt me, not as in self harm but like: I have a small wound and I know it's gonna hurt if I press it but I still do it all the time, or it hurts if I move this arm in a certain way but I keep doing it

- I worked hard to over come my ocd, and since doing so i have learned how to over come most meltdowns. Am i invalid

It can be related to inappropriate expressions of/reactions to emotions, which is a possible symptom of autism.

- Iiaa to have perpetual brain fog? I cant remember anything and it gets in the way of doing anything. Would that fall under executive dysfunction?

- Hi, not a feel but uh. I really want to bring it up to my dad that I'm 100% sure I'm autistic.. but I don't feel safe doing this.. he uses the R word frequently and has recently made it clear he thinks autistic children are "a shame" and hard on the family to deal with.. He says a lot of ableist things to me and laughs when I stim, even though he doesn't know why I do them. I want to change his mind about this stuff but I'm just scared?😓 -🔥🐶

If you don’t think it’s safe to confront him on this, you probably shouldn’t. Your safety is more important, and long term you may be able to reduce/cut off contact once you’ve left home, if that’s something you decide to do

- could pica be an autism thing? what about trichotillomania and dermatillomania?

So I'm having a super hard time rn. I'm hyper empathic in a very odd way and it's starting to really overwhelm me. Every time I see any display of affection, sadness, or care for another person even in movies I can't help but cry. Even just reading something that I relate to can make me get teary-eyed. Do you know any ways to help me cope with this? I'm so tired of crying. I want to be at peace. -Honeydew (yes it's still me I just.... Keep changing my blog sorry)

I tried asking a friend who is hyperempathetic, and their advice is to try to focus on something completely neutral “like lampposts”. For when it happens in a film, you can also try thinking of the person as their actor instead, for example when watching Titanic you could try thinking “oh Leonardo DiCaprio is trying not to move now. I bet he’s cold”

Tfw you always get dinosaur nuggets and apple juice every grocery trip but ur mom gets the regular chicken nuggets instead and it really bothers you but you don't want to be annoying so you just don't eat the nuggets. -honeydew
