Enjoy the perfect balance of savory and sweet with these succulent Chicken Yakitori skewers glazed with a delectable honey sauce. Ideal for your barbecue gatherings, these skewers are sure to be a hit with family and friends.
Ingredients: 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces. 1/2 cup soy sauce. 1/4 cup sake. 1/4 cup mirin. 3 tablespoons honey. 2 cloves garlic, minced. 1 teaspoon grated ginger. Bamboo skewers, soaked in water.
Instructions: For the marinade, mix honey, minced garlic, soy sauce, sake, mirin, and ginger in a bowl. Make sure the chicken pieces are well covered when you add them to the marinade. Let it sit for at least 30 minutes, or better yet, put it in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. Set your grill or barbecue to medium-high heat. Using wet bamboo skewers, thread pieces of chicken that have been marinated. Put the skewers on a grill that has already been heated up. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes, turning them over every so often, until the chicken is cooked all the way through and has a nice char. While the chicken is on the grill, baste it with any extra marinade to make it taste even better. Sticks should be taken off the grill when the chicken is done. If you want, you can serve it hot with chopped green onions or sesame seeds on top.

These savory crepes are filled with a delicious combination of fresh spinach, artichoke hearts, and creamy brie cheese. The sweet honey sauce adds a delightful contrast of flavors.
Ingredients: 1 cup all-purpose flour. 2 eggs. 1/2 cup milk. 1/2 cup water. 1/4 teaspoon salt. 2 tablespoons butter, melted. 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped. 1/2 cup canned artichoke hearts, drained and chopped. 4 ounces brie cheese, sliced. 2 tablespoons olive oil. 1/4 cup honey. 1 tablespoon lemon juice. 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes. Salt and pepper to taste.
Instructions: Whisk the flour and eggs together in a bowl. Slowly pour in the milk and water, stirring to mix. It will be smooth after you add the melted butter and salt. Put the nonstick skillet on medium heat and use cooking spray or butter to lightly coat it. Add a little crepe batter to the pan and swirl it around to cover the bottom evenly. The crepe is done when the edges begin to lift and the center is firm. Turn the crepe over and cook the other side for an extra one to two minutes. Do it again with the rest of the batter. Put the olive oil in a different pan and heat it over medium-low heat. Put in the chopped spinach and artichoke hearts. Cook until the artichokes are warm and the spinach wilts. Add pepper and salt to taste. Put a few spoonfuls of the spinach and artichoke mix on top of each crepe, and then add slices of brie cheese on top of those. Cover the filling with the other half of the crepe. Put the honey, lemon juice, and red pepper flakes in a small saucepan and mix them together. On low heat, warm the sauce up until it's just a little runny. Spread the sweet honey sauce on top of the crepes and serve right away.

Hey Foodie Fam! 🍜 I apologize for being MIA. I've been cooking like usual and taking pictures, but honestly I've been frustrated with my website. My website is down right now because of malware attacks; over 5,000 to be exact 🙄😡 🍜 Right now, the malware is in the process of being removed, so the site should be up in a few days or less. When the site is up (finally) the usual Monday 9am blog posts/recipes will resume. 🍜 Anyway, for dinner I made salmon with honey sauce, lime cilantro noodles, and roasted cabbage and brussels sprouts. 😋 Kind of random, but I need to get groceries lol 🤷🏾♀️ 🍜 Thank y'all for your support! It means the world to me! ☺️ 🍜 Keep in mind that I'm an artist, and I'm sensitive about my ish 😉 - Erykah Badu 🍜 #zelandaskitchen #zelandaskitchentv #glutenfree #dairyfree #honeysauce #salmon #noodles #cabbage #brusselssprouts #foodrx #everydayseasoningblend #food #healthyfood #foodstagram #writer #foodwriter #blogger #foodblogger #foodiefam #merch #shopsmall #blackbusinessowner https://www.instagram.com/p/Ceugv7gD2Ce/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
