I watched Hook last night for the first time in a long time, and the second hand embarrassment from watching an adult act like a child was v real just like I remember. It’s a shame bc I absolutely adore the concept. Peter Pan grows up and can’t remember that he used to Peter Pan? I’m hooked (ah hah. Yes thank you I am hilarious)

There was something about the execution of the whole movie that,,, idk. Maybe it’s robin williams in tights, maybe it’s that it’s all too fast of a 180 change (3 days for his entire personality to change? Really?)

I’d love to read it as a book. You could really be inside Peter’s head, the events could take place over a longer period of time, you could expand on the characters
