They are starting to look much like pizza pies! My goal is to hook eight round rugs, which I will sew onto seat cushions, for the dining room table. There have been a LOT of distractions today, what with the US pending election results. This week has been a real nail biter, no matter who you were rooting for. It’s been difficult to concentrate on much because of this, so I find myself gazing at my rug, selecting and arranging colors, which I will add, later on (I need daylight to choose my colors). Rug hooking is a relaxing, pleasant distraction from all the world’s hectic activity. I can lose myself in the oasis of my creativity. I just love it. It took me all of 3 minutes to learn how to hook (thank you @hookingrugs!), and I’ve been working on this piece ever since (July). I’ve gotten a bit faster over time, but this is still slow art.
