iOS photo and video organization (and other files too) never worked for me. Media are gathered into one physical folder (I know it isn’t physical literally but you know what I mean) and you can create virtual folders to classify them (some software call them buckets too). The problem is, if you try to delete them from the virtual folder, they don’t get deleted on the main folder. If you have hundreds of photos, it’s hard to delete them. I need physical folders, not virtual, or at least be able to delete physically if the virtual is deleted. To make it worse, if I ran out of space, the only way is to delete all of the photos including what I wanted to save bundled into a virtual folder. Am I doing something wrong? Anyway, I like these IPhone flash drives where I can create normal physical folders separate from the device. Now that I’m back to editing videos again, I can move the files from one device to another. Even on a computer or an iPad. I know there are cloud services but either you have to pay for them or they are slow. Sometimes they are not available on all platforms or application. This device is a simple solution for me. It can even be hand to backup your iOS device. #tech #hootoo There are other brands out there (including Sandisk but I’ve never had an issue with this so far. https://www.instagram.com/p/BxlHigDDCvg/?igshid=5wdcgj2ejjrl
