hopeunto asked: *kiss* :]
Like everything else that came with knowing G’raha, the kiss was a complete and utter surprise. The act was given when Kaeya least expected it, which was a feat in itself, but one that Kaeya had always been sure G’raha was very capable of. It had always been a part of his charm, Kaeya thought. That with every passing moment, there’d always be something new. That not a single second would go by feeling starved. That G’raha continued to give and give and Kaeya had found himself to be remarkably greedy as a result. Because where there was a void, G’raha managed to fill it quite nicely, even if this void was seemingly eternal. That was one of the reasons why Kaeya thought they wouldn’t get this far. It was the same with everyone, really. The absence of something needed often puts a dent into others. But again, G’raha would still fill it, even if the salvation was only temporary. When G’raha kissed Kaeya, the man froze. Time came to a standstill, and the sound of his heartbeat became thunder. It struck him, and for what felt like the first time, there was a falter in Kaeya’s expression. Sure, a kiss was nothing. Sure, it maybe hadn’t been his first. But it felt like it.
He wasn’t sure how long the kiss lasted for. He was unsure how long time had come to a halt. How long he had stood there, stiff, a numbness consuming him. Indeed, it had been a very long time. The absence of something needed does leave an open wound, and over time, it gets harder and harder to close. But when G’raha’s lips parted from Kaeya’s, immediately, he could feel that same want consuming him again. That same greed he had unfortunately become so accustomed to. Although Kaeya wouldn’t speak of it, the absence of something just after it is given hurt him more. But all Kaeya did was let out a soft chuckle, his voice raspy. Really, over this amount of time spent with the Miqo’te, he should have expected it. But he didn’t.
“Ah. You sure do know how to tease someone,” Kaeya said.
He slowly lifted a hand to place atop G’raha’s head, his touch soft. A single kiss from him felt almost cruel. It wasn’t enough. But, since when was anything from G’raha enough? He was someone addicting, if Kaeya had to put a word to it. Someone enticing and interesting, someone who could quip back in equal measure. He was also someone who never failed to make Kaeya’s chest warm. “Is that all?” Kaeya asked eventually. Now they were still close, and Kaeya wanted to be even closer. “Is that all you’re going to give me?”
