For the headcanon thing: Could you do Dex and his favorite weather, and his singing voice?
YES I CAN. I love Dex a lot and I have a lot of thoughts about him.
their favorite kind of weather - Dex is an overcast and cool weather kind of guy. He grew up on the coast of Maine and does not fair well in too much sunshine and heat. He also burns like, ten minutes after being out in the sun. He likes cloudy skies and light wind because it reminds him of the beaches back home. Thunderstorms are great, but after spending so much time on a boat he has grown a little wary of them. His moods can sometimes be directly linked to the weather if anyone is paying close enough attention. He gets a lot bitchier when it’s hot and sunny out, and a little easier going when the skies are grey.
thoughts on their singing voice (decent? terrible? soprano? alto?) - I actually see Tango and Dex as kind of similar with their singing, in that Dex also is the kind of person that can sing certain songs really well and sounds absolutely ridiculous attempting others. He doesn’t have a very big range, and has kind of a deeper voice that is kind of stuck where it is. He does best with more gravely songs, more blues and southern rock than anything. He is Devastating with a Johnny Cash song and an acoustic guitar (RIP Nursey everyone) but he refuses to be That Guy in college. He’s way too shy to preform for anyone anymore. He also does well with CCR, The Kongos and The Brothers Bright. He tries to sing Led Zeppelin (alone) but that’s pretty hit or miss. Okay, it’s more miss than anything, but he tries. Also unrelated but he was definitely the guitar player in a super shitty band in high school. He has destroyed all evidence.
