🪦 HORRORNATURAL22 : [ week 1 : wrath ]

WRATH is one of the naturals answers to horror.

It is in its origin divine, native of the realm of the gods and primordial entities. Being not a feeling of raw evilness, nor a pure sample of kindness in the world, it can be good or bad according to the hands of its wielder.

Wrath is the anger and indignation of the fair and the noble, the rage and compulsion of the lost and the outraged. It's the desire to punish an offense or a crime, either in equal measure or in generous retribution.

Justice or vengeance. Infernal or divine chastisement.

⠀Michael's sword obtained his wrath in the graveyard of his childhood. Naturally, he shaped it into a fire weapon, one to be use to protect the vulnerable from the evil of his world.

🪦 HORRORNATURAL22 : [ week 2 : abandoned ]

Angels shouldn't be able to feel abandoned.

They were created long before humans, long before free will was supposed to mean something ( a length of rope ). According to their job description, they should be one thing and one thing only through their existence. Not life, not yet.

But then Lucifer fell and how could he? How could he? 'Cause they shouldn't have it in them; to be corruptible. Was it their Father's plan? Was him all mighty after all?

And which one would/should they prefer? 'Cause the first ( and second ) time someone abandoned someone else, it was God leaving with his back firmly turned. Every time.

Life was not what they were told.

And as they wait for their extinction, a question poses:

Who would be the last of us?

🪦 HORRORNATURAL22 :⠀[ week 3 : cosmic ]

How old is old for a cosmic being?

Angels probably got their halos from the very matter of the million of galaxies that humans can only dream to reach. Maybe they were weaved from forgotten suns and moons, eyes full of stars that have already died.

It's certain that they can contain all our lives within them, the entirety of human history, every fish to have ever existed in every sea —yes, they're the asteroid water that created our ocean, the one we haven't explore whole yet.

What they are, their true forms, that's a miracle we can't hope to meet. Maybe they were born before geometric figures. Before gravity. Before the first man dreamed the first dream ever dreamed.

Can you be old enough to be older than time itself?

That's how old an angel is.
