im working on a compilation of horror movie themed ads because i think its an interesting commercial subgenre (to be clear, not commercials for horror movies, but commercials that utilize horror movie tropes or references when advertising other stuff) and i made a playlist of what ive found so far; please reblog with any you might find because i think its a cool little subject. almost all the ones i have so far are chainsaw related but they dont have to be. feel free to share if you want because as i said i think this is a cool thing to explore & i like hearing/talking about weird or interesting commercials. OH and psas can also be included but im general looking for Specifically horror movie related, not necessarily just scary (basically all the ones currently in the playlist are supposed to be funny anyway)

Hey, just a fyi, a new trailer of The Nun will pop up randomly while you’re watching a video (or before the video starts), turn the volume down so that you don’t have a panic attack. If you’re having a panic attack, turn the lights on or put on a playlist & sleep. You can even ask someone close to you to sleep next to you.
