Hey can the person who labeled Titanic as a romantic movie please respectfully never do my anything ever again. I thought the relationship between Jack and Rose was cute and all. Sweet teenage puppy love is great, but the other two hours of the movie where you watch people brutally die and have to watch the life leave the eyes of small children seems a little too tragic to make the movie about the romance. Imagine doing something like this with 9/11, people would be outraged, and future generations traumatized. It's very well made and cute for the first hour I will admit, but after that it's just terrifying. Had to keep my friend up all night crying about it. Meanwhile my partner spent the entire time explaining why the engineering and breaking scenes were inaccurate, which made it slightly less haunting. I watched Possibly in Michigan afterwards to calm down.
