Hey how would The moths react to being complemented for their wings?

Like that person thinks their wings are really pretty? Maybe it's a close freind and or some other moth/butterfly who the boys maybe have a crush on? Idk- just a random thought I had sorry this isn't very creative

I like the idea that these are the moths wings?

Sunset: He would perk up, then laugh and nudge them, his wings flapping lightly, "Thank you," He started with, "They're kinda really out there, huh?" he looks over his shoulder at his own wings, spreading them out as far as they could go. His wings were huge! Compared to his body size, his wings were the biggest and brightest. He was very pleased that you would call his wings pretty… good luck, he's gonna be showing them off even more often now.

Scarlet: Scarlet looked at you, listening to you talk then laughs and flaps his wings. They weren't really all that much like a moth, but he was one! Just… faking being a wasp. It was interesting. "I know, thanks though." it might seem like he was being full of himself, and he was, but he was also embarrassed. He wasn't expecting you to say that, so when you did, it made him smile and he didn't want to admit how happy it made him.

Leopard: Leopard would listen to what you said, look at his wings, then back at you and he shakes his head. He doesn't really believe that he's got pretty wings anymore. They're all torn up and gross looking… he's happy that you can lie to him to make him feel better, though.

Rosy: "well thank you!" He laughs, fluttering his wings happily, then he'd fly around you and nuzzle his skull against yours. "I like your wings too." He thought that they were simple and kind of dark, but oh so pretty to him. He was going to keep what you said in his mind for a while. It makes him feel really good about himself! :D

Sunset: When he saw you coming his wings started to flap a little, and he moves over “Hey Y/n, glad to see ya, what are you doing here?” he didn't like to admit it too easily, but he did have a big dumb crush on you. You pull him into a hug, and he felt his body tense. You most likely didn't know but hugging like this was a sign of courting to moths! He looks up at you, then down, and hugs back his wings flapping a bit faster. He was soft and his wings made you feel strangely sleepy.

Scarlet: He was pretty annoyed today cause he got into a fight with Cinnabar, which he knew that he was in the right for, but he didn't really wanna deal with the other moth so he took off. While flying he saw you, making him perk up, and he flies down “Oi, Y/n, what are you doin' out here?” he flies around you in circles, until you catch him in a hug, laughing and you start to explain why you're here but he wasn't listening. His soul was now pounding in his chest and he felt embarrassed. This was really sudden...

Leopard: When you came to see him, and you hugged him, his body tensed up but slowly relaxed and he hugs back, holding you tightly “Hi” he mumbles, nuzzling his skull against yours. He was covering you in his scent, and even moves his wings around you a little. It was something that he didn't do all that often anymore. It sorta hurts to move them cause of how torn up they were but he had the biggest wings out of them all! Not compared to his body, though, if it was that it was Sunset who took it.

Rosy: The hug catches her a little off guard, her wings flapping quickly spreading the powder but when she realized it was you? She smiles and laughs, hugging back “You dummy! You scared me” she nuzzles her skull against your head, letting out happy hums. She was so small and soft in your arms! She knew that this was a courting thing for moths, but for humans, it didn't seem to be that... it was something that she knew from watching humans for a while now.

Shadow: He sneaked up on you before you could see him, blending in with the shadows, and jumped out to scare you “Boo!” You jumped, then laughed, and hugged him giving him a little shake “Shadow! You little asshole, how dare you?” he blinks when he was hugged like that, going limp in your arms then smiles and nuzzles into your chest. His wings were hanging limply. Honestly? Really impressive he felt that comfortable with you. Good luck putting him down now.

Cinnabar: if you try to hug him, he's gonna squirm and wiggle around in your arms “Unhand me!” he kicks his legs, while making sure to not hurt you on accident or flap his wings too much. He normally doesn't mind the touching, but that's a bit much and he's just embarrassed.

Lace: When you go to hug them they tense up and move their wings around themselves, and suddenly you were unable to see them. You could still sense that they were there though... “Y/n, you... need to ask before trying to do that” they suddenly say, allowing you to see them again, turning their head away and sinking down a little into the clothing that they were wearing. They do allow you to hug them but they felt like they were shaking in your arms.

If it's okay, can I ask for soft early morning moments with Leopard and Burn? Probably not together, I think lol

Sure! Though I could totally write something with them together lol poly is fun.

Leopard: When you wake up, you knew that your datemate was there with you. You could feel his wing draped over you, like a makeshift blanket and you were held up against the fluff around his neck and chest. "Mmm… Morning." You mumble, nuzzling closer while he tightened his grip. He made a sound that sounded like he was saying morning, but it was hard to tell. Soon enough you could hear the sounds of the others starting to wake up, leaving their trees or caves. It seemed like he might not want to leave yet, and honesty? You couldn't blame him. Surrounded by the fluff, wings, and furs from the animals he caught, it felt you could fall asleep all over again.

Burn: When you woke up today, you knew exactly who fell asleep with you. You slowly shift around feeling its arms wrapped around you loosely and when you looked up, you saw Burn's face with its eyes shut, asleep. It was so warm and held you closer when you were moving around which made you laugh and you pet your hand against its cheek, "Burn… Burn wake up, you're squeezing me." It makes a mrrr sound and nuzzles into your hand, mumbling, "No." its voice held a growl. You knew it wasn't growling at you, more just growling because it was still sleepy. It opens its eyes looking at you then moves its wings over you again mumbling, "Sleep." You shake your head, laughing, "It's too late! We need to get up." Burn was now ignoring you.

Sometimes when he thinks that the others are working too much, he'll pick them up and hold them in his wings so they can't get out. The others act like they hate it but a few of them like the break.

Leopard turns his head to the side, then the other, staring down at you in a silence. He really had no idea what was going on, if he had to be honest. Why were people paying them to kiss each other?

He figured that he didn't mind it too much… he reaches up to cup your cheek, but his hand paused a second before slowly cupping your cheeks. He leans forward, pressing a kiss against your nose then pulls back smiling the best that he could.

He uh… didn't feel like really kissing kissing. His wings were twitching, seeming to try their best to flap but not being able to.

Because of you not being a moth like him he worries that you're going to be caught by something and hurt. He covers you in his scent so others know not to mess with you.

Will wrap his wings around you whenever you're around and he wants attention

Cuddles you a lot.

He brings you stuff that he thinks that you would like a lot.

He's trying to make sure that his part of the cave/nest is very comfortable and then you wouldn't want to go home and you'll stay with him forever.

He's very protective of you when the other moths are around and will not let them too close to you at first.

The only one he trusts near you is Rosy.

He won't share his story with you, like how he got his wings torn up and hurt, just because he doesn't want you to judge him.

Will pull you close whenever he thinks that there's any type of danger.

Can I give flowers and smooches to Sunset, Leopard and Shadow?

This was so cute! I'm so happy to be able to talk about these boys. They're really cute -w-

Sunset: Sunset looks at the flowers that he was given, and smiles a little, "Heh hey, thanks" He was gonna spread them out in his cave most likely... other bugs could get drawn in and he'd most likely eat them. And then he got that smooch? He blinks his cheeks flushing and his wings flapping a little. "Oh-" well damn, he wasn't expecting that. He looks over at you, tilting his head then chuckles and bonks his head against yours lightly, "You're pretty fun" His wings curl around you slowly. Yeah... he was going to keep you.

Leopard: He looks down at the flowers that were given to him, rubbing his thumbs over the petals. They were so soft... he moves it up, pushing his face into the flowers. His wings even gave a little twitch! They uh couldn't really flap that much anymore, though with how damaged they were. He didn't even notice when he got the smooch on the cheek... too interested in the flowers. He'll realize what happened later and then he would go to try to find you again. If he can't, he'll continue to move and pace around trying to figure out a way to get you. The next day when you come to see him you just get knocked over by him.

Shadow: When he got the flowers and the smooch, he was more interested in the smooch. His wings flap quickly behind him, almost lifting him up a little honestly, and he smiles nudging up against you, "Can I have another one?" Good job, you're gonna have to pay attention to him now. >:| He'll keep asking for more and more until he just starts to pepper kisses against your face himself all while his wings were flapping happily.

Can I get a comfort hug from someone?

Leopard had been watching you for a little bit. He knew that you were upset so he hasn't come out to greet you while you were sitting there. The others already greeted you but... he felt nervous.

With a slow sigh, he walks over and plops down on the ground behind you then pulls you into a loose hug against his chest, his wings moving to curl around them the best that they could. "...you feeling alright?"

If you press closer to him, he would tighten his grip and nuzzle into your hair mumbling that he was here for you. He doesn't know what's wrong, but he'll be there the whole time.
