After my walk through of The Grand Central Market I decided to sample some good ole Texas style barbecue. Horse Theif’s barbecue is right next door and I’ve really wanted try the food. I ordered up brisket and ribs with sides of coleslaw and cornbread for maximum comfort food effect. I’d tried this once before but they ran out of food after a busy lunch. I was disappointed but I put it on my checklist. I though of Stubbs BBQ on Red River in Austin. When I ordered up I was sure to get a Shiner Bach to complete my meal to perfection. Half way through I thought I wanted more but by the time I was finished I was full enough I didn’t want to walk that much and was considering a nap. I’d been wanting cornbread for the last few months and I was overjoyed butter that cornbread up and chow it down.
