Please help a trans couple find housing.
Hello, Tumblr. I know this likely won't get notes or spread around or anything because of my account being new, but I had to make a burner because I'm being stalked on all forms of social media. I'm sorry for the egregious amount of tags, but this situation really sucks. My partner and I really need help.
Basically, I was invited into a housing situation by someone I thought was a friend, who ended up being a serious, major abuser. This side of this person was not shown until my partner moved in. I have been threatened with physical violence and this person has attempted to isolate me from my partner. When my partner did not respond the way this person wanted, the aggression escalated and the emotional and mental abuse began. We have both contacted crisis lines asking for help. While this person has now 'left the house', their things are still here, so we know it's a show to tell us they'll be back shortly. We are legitimately scared for our safety, as we recently found out this person has a history of violence. We are aware that our housing is not only in jeopardy but our time here is on a ticking clock.
I have had to make burners to share any of this information, and even then, I have to be hyper diligent. This person is very skilled at catfishing, and I've purged all of my social medias of people who I don't know for sure are real. As a queer, t-masc disabled person (with a queer, t-masc partner) this is a very touch and go situation. I can't make a gofundme knowing that this person will easily find it with my details tied to it, and I can't make any form of posts on my personals where I have even the faintest form of social networks, because this person has already reached out to some friends I had for years to pressure me into further isolation. They are very well known for making fake accounts and contacting people around their friends in order to triangulate situations and get information. They purposely keep history on all social media saved in order to be able to catfish someone when they need information, even if that connection might be years old.
I have literally no options to get out of this situation, which was obviously by design (especially on the budget disability affords a person), but if anyone has options or even knows someone that knows someone, please contact me. I have no intention of giving out my information or real personal Tumblr immediately (I'm sorry, but as you can hopefully see, this is the situation I am in?) but if you know even someone who I can reach out to who is looking to house queer people, it would really mean the world to me.
