I got fed up with the designs of the Houtua from the CGI godzilla anime trilogy (how and why would moths evolve to look nigh-indistinguishable from humans?!), so after studying moth anatomy, I sought to create something as close to human as possible. Just to prove its impossibility

The Godzilla trilogy was wrapped up by the recent release of Godzilla 3 The Planet Eater.  Starting with a theatrical release in Japan, American audiences just found this movie released on Netflix.  This is the third movie being preceded by Godzilla: Planet of Monsters, and Godzilla: City on the Edge of Battle, released by Toho Animation and Polygon Pictures.

Godzilla Animeverse AU idea

1. Humanity never left Earth and stayed behind.

2. The Bilusaludo, Exif, and Houtua are precursor humanoids.

3. Godzilla appeared in 1954 and is NOT a friggin’ planimal. He also keeps his origins which makes his reasons for hating humanity’s guts a lot more understandable. 

4. Haruo’s grudge against Godzilla stems from the fact he doesn’t want anyone else to go through what HE went through. 

5. MechaGodzilla looks like MECHAGODZILLA and not a saurian, robot Picasso painting. 

6. There is a strong Haruo X Yuko relationship.

7. There are other Kaiju aside from Godzilla and his Servum.
