can anyone help me with my header?? i want to make it a hover over image drop down description sort of thing but the codes i've seen have only been for themes with sidebars;;

How to change fonts on hover
Okay first of all for this tutorial, if you want to use a custom font, you have to have it already installed,
here is a tutorial on how to that
Now to change the font on hover, find your link code
It should be either a { or a:link, press ctrl+f to search for it.
Now insert this code under the a:link or a code
font-family: 'The Name of your font here';
and then insert this code under your a:hover code
font-family: 'The name of the font you want on hover';

Do you think that if you have multiple things like a rainbow change hover, and a sparkle change hover, and a magnify link hover that only 2 of them will show up like magnify and sparkle? Cause I can't get rainbow hover to work too. Do i have to pick one over the other or am I doing something wrong and i can have all three? Oh sorry, btw this is all for links.
It depends on the codes, if the affect the same aspect then no, but the magnify and rainbow should work, just put both the codes under the a:hover code, don't have two a:hover codes because then will void.

I need motivation in order to do the things I want to do. The things I want to do live in my head, and my head has only so much space to store these things. I created this site so that I would have a place to store these things, sort of like an external hard drive for my brain. This is the next best thing to a pensieve, I suppose.
The things I plan to cover: thoughts on creativity, ideas (and my progress towards making those ideas enter the real world), and the work I'm currently creating. Knowing me, this project will evolve and probably become unrecognizable every couple months.
A little about me: I'm working on becoming a filmmaker and digital media producer. I'm saving up for a Canon Rebel t4i, which is scary because it's insanely expensive and I have no idea how to use DSLR's. So a lot of what I'll be posting is probably going to be crap that I put on Vimeo. The goal is to make not-crap, but at least at first, I can't promise much.
Ira Glass has talked about the gap between our Taste and our Work, saying that while people who are creative are starting out creating work, their work does not meet the standards of their taste, and that only with time will they have confidence in what they create. I have confidence that my taste is good, and I'm currently at that point where my work is not great, and I can recognize that. So this site is going to more or less be a tool to motivate me to create more and often and, hopefully, eventually bridge the gap.
