umm guys... i just found something while doing a quick library search- it's a Norwegian erotic novel basically translated to "Shot To Pieces by Mads Mikkelsen" written by Hedda H. Robertsen and published in 2008 about "a 19 year old girl named Alba who works in a bookshop in a small town in Norway. It's nearly Christmas and the store is filled with customers, but Alba only has eyes for one of them- a man in his forties from Copenhagen. She calls him Mads Mikkelsen and falls in love. She dresses up for him, chooses perfume and makeup in hopes that he'll notice her during their short conversations at the cash register. In her mind, however, she's already living a rich life with him. Because Alba makes Mads Mikkelsen a physical manifestation of her erotic fantasies, that only grow stronger and stronger. Finally, Alba's fantasies merge with her life in such a way that they can't be separated. For what is most real? What life is the truest?"
Guys, should i read this? (if there isn't one already, I could also translate it). I have never heard of this before, this sounds like a self-insert fanfic😂 right up my alley. can't believe this is a real, published book that they still sell in bookshops here
(i'm googling the author- this was her first novel. her FIRST novel. she was 20 when she wrote it, so this does really sound like a self-insert. slayyyy)
