STORY TIME

someone asked for pictures from my Slavic Ruins Adventure so I went again to take some better ones cos the ones I took the first time werent very good

I reached the place, took some pics and while looking around I saw some funky lookin trees so I decided to come closer and maybe take some photos of them too

when I came closer, I noticed a little path that i missed last time, so of course i decided to see where it leads

it led to the edge of the hill and then run by the side and oh my god you guys

looking down, i had an epiphany, because you see, while looking down from this little path I could see the shape of the hill in a way I couldnt from below or from the path i used to come here initially

in hindsight it shouldve been quite obvious but alas

there were no slavic ruins on the top of the hill

THE HILL WAS THE SLAVIC RUIN

it was probably a hillfort or something and I kid you not I was speechless with this realisation

you cant see the shape very well on camera but it was very clear in person

Oh yeah, the guitars in Dear John (and a few other elements) are a take on John Mayer's own style of music. It was really genius of Taylor to write the song the way she did. She was so very effected and inspired by her rs with him. It's one of the all time best songs imo.
