remus hates socialising sometimes so at parties and events, he’s almost like sirius’ guard dog. a tall presence hovering behind sirius who’s engaged in this conversation with someone that can’t help but flit their eyes nervously between sirius and remus. or he’s simply lingering behind, holding sirius’ hand and staring into a wall whilst he fiddles with his fingers absentmindedly, tracing lines on his palms and memorising the details in his skin. sirius would probably end up leading him to a couch just to sit on his lap and lean against his chest whilst he continues having a good chat and the other can engage whenever he likes but they’re together that when sirius falls tired of conversations , he can tuck his head into remus’ neck and whisper sweet things to him too .
Sirius Black was a late bloomer who discovered he’s an omega and entered his first heat during a full moon , meanwhile Remus who is currently transformed into a werewolf had smell the scent of him and immediately went back to siruis’s cottage when he saw Sirius something shiften within him and he happens to transform back into his human form and gain self consciousness as if overpowered by the urge to help his mate
I have a silly little question that’s been sitting in the back of my mind for a while.
So in the HP movies (and specifically the movies only right now), Remus told Harry that he knew his mother, Lily, and recognized him because he has her eyes. Remus also said that Lily was there for him when no one else was and saw beauty in those who couldn’t see it in themselves. The way Remus was talking about her like she is the important person to him. who he missed very much. This conversation seemed to be taken by fans as “Remus and Lily were pretty close best friends.”
Then we have seen the full scene of Severus’s memories in Deathly Hallows, being childhood friends with Lily, the moment of Severus holding Lily’s dead body while crying over her death, a conversation between him and Dumbledore with the famous lines, “after all this time?” “Always.” (Additionally, before these memories, we also get the like from him about Harry’s eyes). That whole thing was mostly taken by fans as he loves her in a romantic way, instead of platonic love for a friend he used to have.
So the question is, why people assume that Remus felt platonically for Lily, but Severus felt for her romantically? Why it wasn’t the other way around, since Remus was first to talk about Lily before the whole reveal about her friendship with Severus? Why Remus’s friendship with her wasn’t romanticized like with Severus? Or why weren’t both friendships taken purely platonic?
Maybe I am missing something. I would really like to know what ya’ll think, I’m curious.
🤍Last post of the year and of course it's Young Remus 🥺🤍

...reminds them of you, two! Harry Potter preference. Sirius, Remus, Severus, Lucius, and Graves (feat. gender-neutral reader).
-- Sirius
Everyone is smacked with the opening surprise, I think, but some brush it off fairly quickly compared to others. Mr. Black is one of those, and the potion serves to fuel him- reminding him of the many reasons he loves you so, and he laughs.
I didn’t need the confirmation, he thinks, amused, but thanks for trying anyway, amor(tentia). He’s straightforward but, at the same time, unconventional. It doesn’t go to the head and the validation isn’t necessary either. It simply goes to make him want you near even sooner, so he can give you all the love.
-- Remus
Everyone’s a sweet baby and deserves love (you, too). The werewolf’s brain is a bit spent when he recognizes the scents wafting from the potion before him, too busy wondering and doubting anything and everything. But... like Sirius, it’s a breath of fresh air.
It’s more than liking you- he’s no fool- he loves and adores you, and certainly doesn’t need the potion as proof (it does push him in the right direction, admittedly). He continues being slightly hesitant, but make no mistake- it was pure, innocent happiness when the potion reminded him of you, as he knew it wouldn’t be anyone else.
-- Severus
Another sweetheart (everyone’s a sweetheart, really), the poor thing is at a loss. He’s an expert at potions, ask anyone- so when he’s tasked with a potion he’s created time and time again, he very briefly believes he botched the batch this time. But no, of course he didn’t, and of course it’s you.
He doesn’t want it to be anyone else. Happily enough, you become the anchor on love potions as you’ve done most everything else in the Slytherin’s life. When a scent he associates with you hits him, it’s another he mixed correctly.
-- Lucius
The blond is quick to brush off any initial surprise, and equally as quick to delve into any thoughts. Malfoy is a brilliant name, one he wears with pride, and he isn’t shy by any means- but he’s savvy and calculating.
He’ll be keeping an even closer eye on you, and trust when he does approach (likely a tad more nervous than he’d care to admit), he’s thoughtful and not unprepared. Until you smile at him, that is, and he himself is unprepared for the innocent happiness shooting through him. Damn you.
-- Graves
Percival does take it very well. He dusts the beginning surprises off and, to be honest, it doesn’t do much to change anything. He’s already planned to make a move, and soon, but the thought does make him smile.
Lightly impressed and intrigued, he had dealt with escorting victims to be cured of the powerful concoction prior, but never interacted with it directly for so long. To associate with it firsthand is a welcome, and he takes a moment to wonder the potion effects on you (because deep down, he hopes you smell a scent you associate with him, too).

Author’s note: Sorry for my lack of posting. I just finished finals and now can’t seem to relax. I have been lacking any inspiration and have a constant worry about university. I hope you enjoy this piece. I’ll try to write as much as I can in my one week break x
You had a bad habit of being late for class. It happened so often that you mostly had to sit next to new people. It always raised your heart a bit, but it was still manageable. Even if your anxiety often made it hard, you found your ways. You just had to focus on class and could move on for the day. But today didn't seem to go so smoothly. The only seat left was next to Sirius Black, one of the most popular boys in the school. Not to forget also one of the famous Marauders. So naturally his other two friends sat behind him, James Potter and Peter. The last one the least know of the four of them. Unfortunately Remus didn't had this class, otherwise he would have sat next to you. But luck wasn't on your side.
They were joking about some nonsense, clearly not paying attention to anything in class or around them. So you didn't really bother to ask him if you could sit. Not that he or you had any other choice, it was the only seat left. You took your books, quill and parchment; trying your hardest to avoid possible gazes from the trio. Soon after your arrival, you felt a stinging gaze watching your side. They were scanning over every detail you possibly could have. On your back, you felt two pair of eyes burning holes through your robe. You tried your hardest to ignore them, but uncontrollable your cheeks got red. You couldn't hide your anxiety. Even if you weren't extremely afraid of new people, you still gave away noticeable signs. What went unknown was your rising heartbeat, racing thoughts and the sudden struggle to breath normally. They only could see your reddened cheeks, your uncontrollable fidgeting, the constant avoidance of any eye contact. Naturally people labelled you as shy and quiet, but they didn't knew half the truth. You didn't mind such a label, it made it all the more fun when you could proof them wrong.
You sighed relieved when the class finally got dismissed. It was a long torment of constant being stared at by two of the most popular boys. Most girls would have swooned at the attention, but you just wanted to disappear or scare them off with a nasty comment. You want for neither options and just payed attention to the lesson, or at least you tried. Each passing minut seemed to go by slower and slower. As if time had found itself in a frozen state, the clock its ticking stopping. everything around you moving in a stilling motion, the longer it went on the less movement could be found. And as soon as the teacher spoke the heavenly words 'class is dismissed', time regained its power again. Students were happily flowing out of the classroom, cheery chatter filling your ears again. You lightly shook your head while blinking a couple of times, trying desperately to lose the fazed out feeling. You started packing up your quill and parchment, but your books remained unseen.
You heard snickering form behind you, and saw a mischievous grinning boy next to you. Sirius proudly held your books out of your reach. You rolled your eyes, not amused by their stupid little game they were about to play. "Can I have my books back?", you said politely, but your irritated tone came through strongly. "No worry dear, you will get them back as soon as you answer us some questions", grinned the tall boy in front of you. You got the urge to slap his shit-eating grin off his so called perfect face. You gave the three of them your coldest glare, crossing your arms over your chest. "And what would dumb, dumber and dumbest want from me?", you spoke unamused, the same cold expression remaining on your face. It may even had turned murderous as you saw Peter flinch in the corner of your eye. You usual shy and quiet persona seemed to fade. You had a temper not much people knew off, and if they did it often was already too late. You only used it when needed, but they seemed to have a skill to make your blood boil in an instant.
They all chuckled at your reaction. Annoying people really gave them a thrill, getting under people's skin to gain a reaction out of them. "It's (Y/n) right?", James asked, making you turn your head sharply to him. He was sitting on top of the desk, grinning amused at your figure. “Yes”, you spoke shortly, voice cold and irritated. “Well, you are adorable when you are angry”, he winked. When he noticed the slightest blush painting your cheeks, he jumped off the desk and walked away satisfied with himself. Peter followed him, snickering to himself. But you were sure if you made a sudden move towards him, he would jump out of his skin. You and Sirius were the only one who remained in the classroom. He leaned in closer to your smaller figure, even too close for your liking. “Our conversation isn’t over, darling. We’ll see you soon”, he whispered in your ear, making shivers run down your spine. He chuckled at your reaction and left with the same shit-eating grin on his face. What the idiot didn’t know was that your shivers weren’t a result of you being flustered by him; as if you ever would be. You just were uncomfortable and irritated. You never had liked it for people to be so close to you that you could feel their breath on your skin, surely not when they were the ones fueling your anger. But of course the boy didn’t thought about that, he just wanted to soothe his ego.
A bit later the trio made their way into their common room, laughing loudly and joking about your previous encounter. James plopped himself next to Remus, who sat reading happily before they had ruined his peace and quiet. “What are you idiots laughing about now?” Remus always seemed to be the parent of the group, but he carried a secret sparkle of mischief in his eyes. “Oh nothing, really..”, Sirius said amused, chuckling to himself. “But we might have found a new pranking victim”, James continued. This made Remus raise his eyebrow, they rarely had just random victims. Their victims were usually people who had done something to them, which he would be aware off. “Who?”, he asked unsure if he even wanted to know the answer. “Just this girl we met in class today”, this sparked his suspicions even more. They were particularly mysterious and vague, nothing like their usual behavior. He was often the first to be told about any new people who were a source of annoyance. Also their tone didn’t seem to sit right with him. They were oddly cheery. “And who may that be?”, he asked a bit more determined to get to the bottom of this. His eyebrows furrowed together, creating frown lines to form on his forehead. He was growing impatient and even worried. “(Y/n)”, Sirius said enthousiast, a bright grin resting on his face. “Wait- you-you-”, he stuttered over his words, not sure how to argue with them without revealing your secret. If he told them you were off charts of ever being a pranking victim, they would know the two of you were together. But he couldn’t just let them prank you. “She is just such an adorable angry little being”, James continued, going through his spell book to find some ideas for the prank. “No, you can’t prank her”, Remus stated with a stern voice, making the other boys smirk at him. “Oh, and why not? Does someone has a crush?”, Sirius wiggled his eyebrows teasingly, earning an angered glare to be shot his way. “No, but she hasn’t done anything to you. Why don’t you stick to pranking Snape? He does tons of things you would want to take revenge for”, he tried to argue with the stubborn boys. They made some expression as if they were thinking, but deep down he already knew how determined they were to prank you. “Well, I prefer her”, Sirius and James said in unison.

The next day, the idiotic trio found you again. You were headed to the library, books in your hands and head somewhere else. The group had turned the corner, all wearing the same smug grin on their faces. Remus hadn’t been able to reach you in time to inform you of the news, but you had your suspicions. “Oh, look who we have here; our little angry bird”, you sighed loudly at the sound of Sirius’ annoying voice. “Ugh, not this again. What do you idiots want now?”, you said coldly, turning to face them. They all stood closer than you had expected, laughing at the stupid little game they were going to play. “Oh, not much. We just wanted to have a little chat with you”, James said wickedly, nearing your figure. Right in that moment you knew what they were up to. They weren’t going to let you go that easily, but you had your little secret. You tried your hardest to hid your own little grin at the thought of their faces. Seeing them surprised when you fighting skills finally could be used.
They all started to circle around you, cornering you against a wall. You had no where to escape, but were more than ready to fight. The fun was about to begin.
Meanwhile Remus was running through the whole school, on a mission to find you. He had a bad feeling that his friends had already reached you, but he may could lessen the damage. He didn’t want to lose you, surely not because of his obnoxious, idiotic friends. You were the sweetest thing he had met. You were a great listener and understood him on a deeper level that he thought was impossible. You were such a caring person, you always filled him with love and appreciation. But the thing he loved the most about you was your temper. You had amazing fighting skills, taught by your grandfather. It was admirable to see, flowing through the air graceful as ever; punching and kicking guys to the ground with ease.
As he rounded the corner of a dark corridor, he saw you. But not in the sight that he would’ve liked. James had you trapped in his arms, a tight grip on your figure. You were struggling against him, desperate to get to Sirius as he was taunting you with some foolish insults. They spurred you on, only fueling your anger. Peter stood safely to the side, snickering to himself. He was too much of a coward to help with the taunting. “Let me go”, you growled through gritted teeth. You lashed forward in an attempt to hit Sirius face, but got restrained by the strong grip James had on you. “No chance, my dear”, he chuckled. Your hands started to clench and unclench; a sign of you reaching your breaking point. The guys didn’t knew it, but Remus saw it clearly. With a scared heart he watched the scene in front of him, but he couldn’t help the smile curling on his lips.
You gave one last pull against his grip, loosening it up a bit. “Let- me- go”, You said each word with one of your hits. You kicked him on the shin, making him let loose of his grip on you. You elbowed him in the nose, causing a small nose bleed for later on and finished it off with a kick to the stomach. He fell to the ground; one hand holding his nose, the other holding his stomach. He groaned in pain, but you ignored him. He would be fine. You moved towards Sirius, who watched you with wide eyes. Without hesitation you gave him one of your sharp hooks. Your fist collided with the side of his face, freeing a deep groan from his throat. You kicked him in the ribs and finished off with a hit to his stomach as well. Both boys were now on the ground, lowly groaning in pain. Peter was an easier target. You only needed to near him and he was already cowering away, hiding behind his hands. You looked at him with murderous eyes, making him shiver in fear. You growled and hit your hand against the wall next to his head. He let out a little yelp and started running off as fast as he could. Satisfied with your work, you took your books that had been scattered over the ground. Before you left, you looked behind you one more time. You made eye contact with each boy, while saying: “Don’t ever think of doing anything to me again; or next time you lads won’t get so lucky”. With that you walked off, spotting Remus a bit further in the hallway. He smiled proudly at you, but still carried worry in his eyes. “That’s my girl”, He said as he spread his arms, picking you up in a strong embrace. You happily accepted and kissed him in front of his friends who were shocked to say the least. “I’m sorry for what they did to you, love”, he spoke softly, still holding you tightly against his chest. One hand was softly caressing the skin against off your cheek, the other drawing simple patterns on your waist. He was looking at you with a guilty look, soft eyes capturing yours in a loving gaze. “Don’t worry about it, darling. At least now they know not to mess with me”. Another proud smile crept up his face; “I know, love. You’ll always be my not so innocent girl”.
