Cullen seems like he'd be pretty chiseled too. Low body fat from forgetting to eat, high muscle mass from obsessive training... (not that it matters for the armor but)
I actually imagine he has a little pudge, too, although not as much as Blackwall, because they’re built differently. But while I’m sure he does keep himself in good shape, right now he pretty much has a desk job. Getting a six-pack takes a lot of work, and I don’t think he’d have the time, or the inclination to spend the time if he had it. (I do think he’s muscular, just not that defined.)

i'm so glad i'm not the only one who thought it looked wrong. Like, Dorian surely works out but I don't think even he'd be built quite like that. Cassandra looked right, Dorian looked in the vicinity of right, everyone else looked Wrong.
Yeah, exactly. And even if they get a lot of exercise (which obviously some of them do), diet would still be an issue. If we go by historical examples (which I realize doesn’t necessarily apply because this isn’t history, but bear with me), their diets would be pretty high in fat and carbohydrates, with a good amount of meats, potatoes, and breads, at least in Ferelden (I imagine the cuisine gets more Mediterranean-like as we move further north). They’d also drink a lot of alcohol, since water contamination might be an issue. (Although magic might be able to help reduce the amount of diseases due to contamination, which would make that point moot.) Anyway, agreed, Dorian probably works out, but I doubt it’s THAT much.

I think Cole's grosses me out the most. I mean, there are all these canonical reasons he has the wasted, waifish appearance he has. Dude's not doing 1001 situps every day. Ugh.

That armor is ridiculous. The abs mostly look stupid. Also, being stabbed in the gut is kind of a PROBLEM and armor should PREVENT THAT.
YES. Armor that bares the midriff makes no goddamn sense. That’s where most of your important organs are! There aren’t even any bones to protect them! You might as well paint STAB ME across your inexplicably naked stomach.
