i honestly dont really care too much that were only getting two movies, i just hope they dont rush it and they take their time with it.
I'm trying really hard to stay positive about what the final anime project for haikyu being a two part movie means when we have over 100 chapters left to get through.....I promise I’m trying really hard....BUT I DONT LIKE IT AT ALL YALL. THIS MANGA DESERVES SO MUCH MORE THAN A RUSHED FINAL TWO MOVIES
[Haikyuu!! manga is officially over]
We still have the anime but knowing that their story has concluded will definitely feel different.
I noticed a very small panel in the manga of a boy in a bike watching Hinata on TV as he competes as a representative of Japan's national team. I barely understand Japanese but I'm pretty sure that was the same town, if not the same store, where Hinata witnessed how fun volleyball is. And I cried oceans at this point in the chapter.
Haikyuu!! has been a safe place to a lot of people (it has been to me at least). It's gonna feel weird for next week to go by without a new chapter for us to anticipate to.
Admit it or not, even after numerous re-reading or rewat ching, the feeling you get the first time you digest new content will feel different.
After some time, Haikyuu!! is gonna fill us with nostalgia.
I grew up with this manga and to finally have come to the end is totally a hard pill for me to swallow. It's been such a ride! And this manga will always be the number one for me. It taught me so much and hit all the right places in my heart especially as a former volleyball player.
For the most significant 8 years of our lives, thank you, Furudate. Thank you, Hinata.
THANK YOU, HAIKYUU!!
"It wasn't like we had a grand adventure across a sprawling fantasy world... We just ran in circles in a rectangle 18 meters long and nine meters wide, trying desperately hard to make a ball hit the floor in one spot and not hit the floor in another..."
